Am i the only one this happens to sometimes. this is the third time it has happened. I can see the black swirling vortex and then right at the point of him spawning he doesnt appear, i can see everyone else attacking him but theres nothing for me to target. I even blanket the area with aoe and nothing.
Wont be up now for another 3 damn hours!

Not had this happen either, but as a fix I am wondering if you can pick up the target from another player? So if there is another alliance player, target them and pick up their target i.e. Bronjahm?
Not sure if I explained that very well, but in essence you use target of target. Worth a shot as ticket times do seem to be lengthy at the moment.
I did that on my one and only run of Prince Keleseth. Couldn’t see the NPC body among the sea of player ones, so I used ToT and tagged him once.
I’m logged on an ally char atm that was in that fight. Saw you mention the issue in general chat. I wonder if it’s lag related as that one was particularly laggy with a huge black area spread across most of the ground at one point. Worth closing down any other stuff you have open and see if it helps. I know Facebook for instance is pulling far more resources than it used to so if I have that open in a brower the lag is usually worse.
I’ve just killed him, and I haven’t had this problem, It is bloody difficult to see him sometimes, especially with some idiots on the brontos, but has always turned up for me…it strange…hope it gets sorted.
I use RareScanner and the rare notification pops up and I click this to target the rare. Not sure if you use any addons Orillion or if this will be helpful.
Maybe join a party and throw out some heals for an assist (You’d have to swap to an alt though, poor warlocks).
I’m assuming you’ve done the quests prior to Icecrown and not just flown there too? I believe you need to have done the small quest chain to actually see the rares.
If that isn’t the case then maybe scan & repair your game.
Yes this was on my mage alt, and i have done the quest chain on both my main and that alt. I noticed though i have access to that portal on all my alts after i completed that chain on my main. also all my other alts can see the bosses too and i checked on ones that haven’t even done the quests yet.
It seems progress must be account wide as soon as you complete the quest chain on one character
sometimes it doesnt show. if you use AOE near him tho it should give u loot in postmaster

Have tried Aoe’ing before and got nothing,
Only a client restart fixes it. To make sure he appears go to the previous rare when it spawns kill it and loot it and don’t logout
probably related to the large amount of players in the area…
i also had a few problems with assest loading in upon loading up the game because of high activity i am trying to load into …
my suggestion would be to get a addon installed which displays the timer for the raremob…
log into the zone early to give the area a chance to load and then all should be good.

i also notivced i have wow installed on 2 different drives… which could be causing a conflict in asset loading…
one is a SSD the other SATA drive…
i have yet to uninstall the game from the SATA drive to see if the problem still persists but will eventually get around to it…
it is down to the blizzard launching changing it’s priority to SSD’s since i last played the game with no notification on this change…
its worth looking into just incase.
