Does anyone know if the Bronze Celebration Tokens will be reset/go away once the anniversary event ends?
I’ve collected all the items.
Should I save my remaining bronze for next year, or better to spend on Timewarped Badges?

Since they’re currency I’d assume they’ll remain in the currency tab. I also fully expect the vendors to go away when the event ends and not return.
Personally I’m gonna spend all my Bronze Celebration Tokens on TW badges
I’d convert them to TW badges to be on the safe side, we don’t even know if the Celebration tokens will ever be used again, while TW-tokens are used every timewalking week.
Oh… Thanks for the tip. I did not know :o
The vendor’s Historian Ma’di (she sells the 20th anniversary balloon chest toy and some other stuff if you haven’t already been by), and depending on how many BCT you got you can buy Bag of (1 BCT)/Satchel of (5 BCT)/Box (25) of timewarped badges and get 20, 100, 500 timewarped badges respectively
I bought the ballon chest toy, 4 silver transmogs, a couple of full set transmogs, and traded for precisely 20k twb.
Cool, thank you all. Will convert them to timewalking badges then
Im thinking the ones you dont spend will be deleted & you will be mailed with equal amount of some other currency.
That or they’ll change the description on the tokens & keep everything else the same & you get to spend them next year.
This isn’t, as far as we’ve been made aware, an annual event. It is only to celebrate WoW’s 20th anniversary.
by 25 th anniversary hopefully we will have silver token celebration
If Brozen token returns next year (and that’s a big if) I am sure whenever price they add it should be possible to get it only by playing 21th annyversary and keeping tokens from this year won’t be neccesary. So, to be safe, better convert all tokens into TW badges
The weekly reset is on the 8th (today). Usually things start and stop at weekly reset.
They have been pretty clear on when the event stops no?
If you have 180 tokens, you’ve had pretty solid time to convert them or heck even buy the T2 appearances that you need…
What more do you want from Blizzard if they give you a deadline, and you expect them to go over that or prolong it because you were late?
And tbf, the T2 appearances will come back, so probably not worth the fuss, if you didn’t rush to buy them, they probably weren’t that important to you?
What would it cost them to keep 3 npcs in game untill the currency gets removed in patch 11.1 (similar to legion pre-expansion event)? Otherwise just remove the currency right away.
It’s been confirmed any you have left they will be converted to TWB at the rate they were for sale at the vendor when 11.1 goes live
A lot. Because then you would have people complain that the NPCs are there but the tokens are not earnable, and coming up with arguments such as “What would it cost them to make a small token farm?”
You see? Blizzard has for months been pretty clear on the deadline, and if you’ve held on to your tokens instead of spending them (180 tokens even), it’s on you brother… You can’t really expect deadlines to be moved on your convenience… Fair enough if the event ended randomly with no warning, but that was really not the case.
My main critique was that it ended 6 am in the morning. What if in the days leading up to that I didn’t have time to play, so I just remembered “January 8” and logged in to se oh kekw it ended a couple of hours ago, most events always end 23:59 on the day it says it’s gonna end. That was 85% of my point.
Pay attention to the time on the calendar. Sorted.
Doesn’t matter though… In reality it’s the 8th when clock strikes midnight…
So “January 8th” was the ending date…
Not really though… They usually end after reset or the day previous, so when Blizzard says “8th” it ends 7th 23:59 by your claim.
I am all for critizing where the game can improve, but wanting the game to be altered to fit you because you lost track of the time is a bit far fetched to me
As stated above - The ingame calendar says both the date, and time it ends. Read the calendar for future reference.
