Hi, I have a 5950x cpu with 16gb 3800Mhz CL14 ram paired with an RTX 3090 and my firefox browser is lagging like crazy while playing wow, I can barely scroll down on google. It lags only with wow, no other game. I’ve changed to different cores for the browser to use but the problem is still there. its driving me crazy when tabing between wow and wowhead. Youtube is unwatchable, it feels like im sitting on a Pentium 2. I have tried disabling/enabling hardware acceleration in the browser too. I’ve seen a few other threads about this but no real awnser.
cpu usage is at around 10% with most of the threads sleeping so my cpu is barely working… to be clear, wow itself is running fine with 144fps everywhere at max settings. Anyone have some ideas?
Browsers are hungry beasts, so is wow, IMO we need even more ram

yes, only 1 1440p 144hz G-sync screen.
i use dual screen but i had to turn off the gsync in my monitors setup and the problem was gone. Not sure what caused it but it helped.
