BS required to use a key?

So… Something I have been wondering ever since I started playing WoW is… why do you have to be a Blacksmith to use a Skeleton Key?
Shouldn’t adding something like this help people to open their dropped lootboxes without having to look for a rogue to do it for them rather than having to look for a rogue OR a blacksmith to do it?

Personally… I think that it would make sense as turning a key shouldn’t require you to know how to make one, would help keeping the areas like Oribos from needing to lend their chats to “LF rogue/BS to open my box!” and It’d allow blacksmiths to make a little extra on the side selling the keys on the AH.

Because it helps (or tries) to keep the profession relevant.

Well, you could open chest also by being a rogue or in maldraxxus.
