When are they going to buff the shield?

That’s not only for ret, read the notes again, it’s compensation for removing https://www.wowhead.com/spell=379008/strength-of-conviction talent which ONLY buffed sotr and wog while you stood in consecration. Both holy and prot also get it, but rets get 10% on wog and holy gets 10% on sotr while prot gets 20% on both spells.
Yeah sure holy and prot gets it’s too. But aint it kinda weird that to ret gets it too? Sure u can go sword and shield, as ret and perform alright with it. But u are losing 5 talents and u wont be using divine storm, final verdict, consecreation and blade of justice.
I mean obviously, it was poor talent that only interacted with 2 out of 3 specs in class tree, it’s just they needed to compensate it for prot so they just slapped it for the other 2 specs too.
well holy do use shield of righteous for cd reduction on crusader strike but ret
