After having the dagger from princesss get buffed and having every caster running around with it. Just buff Fesltriker drops aswell now. Its phase bis for rogues and groundbreaking on prog en speedrunning.
Most sincerely a rogue with 150+ runs on sod and not a single drop.
150 runs is weak…come back when you’ve hit the 500 mark then we can talk about increasing the drop rate for an op dagger

This is Just sod alone, considering the release of this phase was last week its a lot. Also combined on classic/era im on 1000+ kills and only had 1 drop so far.
Maybe they should just add it to the coins vendor for 200 or whatever amount that seems fair?
And also rivendares deathcharger please for 500 maybe

Yall forget that this is seasonal server not vanilla or retail. Short lifespan for a that rare drop. Its also viable weapon only in this phase. Noone wants to farm it for a year, by that time SoD will not exists anymore :D…
By your logic we should remove runes because they makes game too easy.
Just farm it or dont, everything shouldnt be awarded guaranteed… Then the “magic” of the game and getting something special is gone. Todays society… Just remove the coin vendor, the t0 gear and all that bs. Add some consumables for coins instead. Rare items should be rare, rare recipes should be rare etc… Or just make every item uncommon and you buy from vendor at start 1 copper. So can enjoy game faster, also NPC to instantly get lvl 60 with a welfare bag for full up to date bis.
They don’t need to buff the drop rate of rare weapons like this. What they should have done is improved the itemisation for SoD.
The biggest issue that nothing comes close to weapons like Felstriker and Ironfoe. There is basically no alternatives to them.
Rogues need it for BiS for the entire phase, warriors need it for Pre-Raid BiS (with no other “real” options) which make it so contested that even if you see it drop you will probably have an entire group to roll against unless you HR and then you still spend hours finding a group.
If they had added some other weapon options that where at least a bit closer to the power level as alternatives through the coin vendor, or just buffed some other weapon drops, people wouldn’t feel so bad about not getting them and if you are lucky enough for it to drop it still feels great.
Really big missed opportunity here really. Thanks to not seeing Ironfoe or Felstriker once after farming all week, I will be going into my first MC run with the first weapons from ST as any other alternative is not worth the time getting it.

Yeah, the contest + it being hard finding a group is the biggest problem next to the low dropchance.
I´d be fine with them increasing the amount of coins you can have at a time and making it cost like 200 for felstriker and ironfoe, as that makes them accessale eventually and still requires a bunch of dungeon runs and you can run all of the dungeons as opposed to one over and over, which is way more fun, imo
Remove the coin vendor. Just unfair welfare style
