The tier set nerf has made our already terrible single target dps even worse. Please compensate by buffing our other abilities, like Mangle.
We’re sitting a good ~20% behind protection paladins at this point.

It’s the end game patch. In my opinion everyone should be stupidly overpowered with tierset.
Blizz should buff everyone else and let people finally have fun for the mess they gave us for our money.

What needs to be buffed is Maul. What an amazing Bear ability which you don’t even put in the spellbar at the moment.
What I could see, how Maul could be improved to be more single target focused:
- rage cost reduced to 20
- puts an additional bleeding effect (similar power to moonfire)
- direct damage increased by ~30%
- Increases target damage taken from guardian druid by 1%, stacks 5 times.
This would be a welcoming start.

I don’t think this is the way to go.
Guardian druid has insane, insane, INSANE AOE DPS, therefore you can’t have both. How that would be fair to other tanks. Some tanks have AOE some tanks have a single target. It’s the same as with Hunters for example. BM, we have a strong single but weak AOE, MM on the other hand has insane AOE but weaker single target dps. Each class and spec has its own thing. Sure in an ideal world the game would be balanced, but then we woke up.
The AOE dps really isn’t that much higher than Paladins or Monks, it has just received 2 heavy nerfs…
Besides, the higher the key, the less relevent it is anyway. There are very few large pack pull opportunities in 20+ keys, so it only really works for low key cheese runs, which isn’t useful at all in higher levels of play.
Then wait for good geared Blood DKs with Jailor weapon.
