Buff limit on Raid Frames

Hi all,

So I have been absolutely loosing my mind over this. I am using the standard Blizzard raid frames and as you know it shows 3 buff and not more. I want to increase this number and size but I can no where find a solution for it. This is for wotlk classic / classic era. What I have tried:

  • Addon MyBiggerBuffs: Does exactly what I want, increase the limit, show text inside, lets me add custom spells and even has a ban list to remove the rediculous totem buffs shown on the frames. However, the addon is no longer updated and lost its functionality partially / breaks the raidframe.
  • Bigdebuffs: Has one simple setting to increase the slots to 6 and change the size, however limited exactly what i need (the debuff options are also phenominal). However this addon is so broken it keeps on breaking the frames with the slightest changes made to the group which makes it impossible to use in raids.
  • EnhancedRaidFrames: You can change settings with this addon but it is so poorly limited I can’t even pull off the increased limits. You can place 9 buffs in each corner which you have to manually add but it is absolutley not what I am looking for.
  • Scripts: I heard that it is possible to play with the settings using scripts, however I don’t posses the knowledge to write it myself and there is near to none info to be found when I try to google about scripting.

Now I know I can use Elvui / Vuhdo / Grid or whatever raid frame overhaul people suggest but I do not want a big addon like this. The standard frames are all that I need and it should be possible to fix it.

If anyone has tips iIwould gladly hear them because this is blowing my mind.

Thanks in advance!

Edit:
One small update, I tried installing the retail versions of both MyBiggerBuffs and BigDebuffs as they seem to be updated. The first one breaks the raid frames, the second one seems to work just fine however resizing both buffs and debuffs doesn’t work at all.

It will show more than 3 if you make it WIDE ENOUGH. It is terrible that it doesn’t display an intended amount of appropriately scaled buff and debuff icons if frames are small but there obviously is adequate room for it.

UI design team constantly keeps making “improvements” but does not test any of them properly. Many lack basic functionality and are terrible user unfriendly. Why even waste time and resources when players will end up searching for external tools? I would guess no one ever tried playing a restoration druid and is very unfamiliar with this problem.
