Hello there fellas. So as many other classes gets buffed but the Retribution Paladin spec gets left in the dust and will be less and less likelly to be picked for any kinda content blizzard should really start buffing our surstain damage else we’ll just fall behind outside of our bursting.

So true they should make it so players take less damage from other players.
As for my expectation, I dont see any buff is coming.
And if that happened, it wont be adding much value.
The tier has set on the maximum dps classes, and for certain, Ret would be at the mid-bottom of the pack.
Also, I dont recall the time , the tier has completely discarded and redesigned on patch launch, but for Ret , that would be the only way to save the class.
I have done the normal run last night, and it was very weird the effort and the clean rotation that sit me on the middle of the dps meter, compare to 9.1 full shards when Ret Single target can shine at the top.
Tell me about it. I can barelly even do eneogh dps to not be replaced in a raid. Like how am i surposed to get my class sets if i can’t do the raid?

hmm, as long as another Paladin spec is buffed/improved (Proteciont), I dont see a change will happened to the un-touched spec: Ret.
Holy will still do very well in raid and m+, expectation to be the second best after shamy, and might even shine to the top.
For the plate wearer: Warr and DK are performing the best , in both cases: aoe & ST, to add as well DK on tanking.
that would be the basic summary of plates.
Warr tank and Pala dps will remain mid-bottom , and this is just a fact.
Make Ret great again Like it was In Legion and Wotlk.

I coulen’t agree more but if we were to have perfection i’d say that we should be as powerfull as we were at the begining of warlords of draenor back then we were so powerfull that everyone wanted to be us.
Meanwhile you could stack 4 warriors in raid, all is fine, Balance is real.

So yes if they won’t soon buff Retribution Paladin i’ll quit retail and what about roleplaying you may ask? I’ll just play second life and use that for my roleplay needs. And use my money that i used to use for wow on dating sides.
unfortunately, no rant will change anything on Ret side.
If Mages/Rogues community complained their voices will immediately reach out to the developer.
We are talking about 9K Rets in comparison with 65K mages.
Also, the world top guilds are focused on the main dps classes to ensure the high output, so the test of the dps on the first weeks will be adjusted for these classes in contrast with overlooked classes such as Feral/ Ret / Monk, as they rarely will participate on first raid kill since the normally not the top dps classed.
Just play the way you like, if you want to go competitive, then go Warr/ Mage/Rogue.
The setup of the world race, assure who is the top dogs.
Playing paladin retribution since 5 years, it is walking from one disapoitement to an another every fockin patch

Which’s why i’m quitting this summer.
Comment on this post, it must stay for longer than a month. Retri paladins didn’t deserve that much nerf, and they didn’t deserve to deal damage on CD’s while being the worst without them. Talking for a PvP perspective, if Blizzard had stomach to nerf it that hard, then they should do it to Demon Hunters as well. Heck they’ve cried about Retri Palas more than they’ve cried about the war irl.

i think its fine, paladins are good starter classes with the 1,2,3 rotation. If paladins want to do more dps they should just reroll instead buffing the 3 spells
So instead of fixing a bad spec, jsut leave it broken and force paople to play something else?

I mean like there could be a person on the developer team , who really thought about it and his mind set told him its good ?

No point on tracking the Seraphim buff ,no point on prioritize , as you will collect 3 holy power to use Finisher and the buff is gone, no point on stacking haste because of break point.
Useless set and idea !
I even asked my guild to put me at least priority to get sets , because the sim increase was 200 dps only !!
What a joke.
Check the Blue post, and see the buffs, 5% on Ele shamy, Unholy dk Destruc lock, and 3% on feral …
is the Paladin team is on a time off to not look at what’s going on ?

Ret has 2set pcs bug and it works really fine.However,bliz hotfixed even without restarting realm. When it comes to spec balance changes,the devs just play dead ignoring the paladin community.
