Can we please buff venthyr arms to be top single target covenant again OR/AND at least equal good at multitarget fights.
It is a joke that this covenant is worst in everything now. Mind boggling that THE execute covenant has the the worst single target … why not unnerf ashen juggernaut and harrowing punishment for venthyr. Ashen is twice as strong for other covenants… and no the 20% at the start of a fight does not justified this, as you see … NF (the aoe and utilitiy gods) is stronger in single target.
Who thinks this is balanced ?

Exploiter unnerf too, plz
It s to the point that you have to take no venthyr conduits (no ashen) and rend (don t get me wrong i love rend and would love to have it baseline/all the time), since massacre (execute/condemn below 35% instead of 20%) is worse.
AS A VENTHYR.
What is the point of condemn and this covenant?

The problem is that they try to balance pvp and pve at the same time, which is very stupid. Just make the attacks/talents have different values/numbers in pve and pvp, like some already are.
Make sudden death proc 2x as much in Pve, so you don’t have to afk when the boss is between 80% and 35% hp. Why is that so hard? Or buff auto attack damage in pve, so it doesn’t affect pvp balance, while still making arms more viable. There are many solutions, if you really care about balance and the playerbase.

Funny to see all those Venthyr warriors, who were overpowered from almost all 9.0, cry to nerf other covenants.
Who needs to change their covenant now ?

I could now deal with your nonexistent arguments but the lie “cry to nerf other covenants” shows me that a discussion with you is wasted life.
Thanks for the push anyway.
There’s no cov legendary testing and yet you go around crying because you feel Venthyr to be weak compared to NF, while still being a very strong covenant.
And not even talking about Venthyr being bis for almost all 9.0. Weird you didn’t cry back then telling everyone how much you hate NF and don’t want to change to be “competitive” (and still pretty useless since you don’t go for the top Mythic raiding performance).
There’s no need for argument against someone like you because no matter what people say, you will just keep your position and won’t change your mind.
But still glad you felt personnaly attacked by my comment.
Your infantile small-mindedness is pitiable but than again… let us work together to ensure that the post always remains clearly visible at the top.
Thanks

Even my Arms Warrior is going NF
I’d take a buff that meant it just wasn’t worst in both.
It seems blizzard took the approach ‘oh there is the most popular covenant, let’s annoy all the people who play it and make the their time spent levelling it up wasted by making it worst in every PVE situation’.
Must be sad that you cant be top dps by headbanging 1 button over and over again whenever it lights up.
Be my guest for a PvE only buff but PvP should be left untouched (buffing-wise)

I’m standing strong by venthyr, my laziness helps. But numbers ain’t everything. Last night our best geared DPS, a 247 hunter, wiped us twice in a 15. Healer left. Ruined.
I’ll stay with venthyr because condemn still serves to whack the mobs away from 100% fast, down to 80%, psychologically helps the team to see that. Also weak mobs, I can get rid of them fast, especially when avatar, warbreaker and sweeping strikes is popped, which is every other group of mobs. Good for affixes that leave trash powerful, or sanguine where you can quickly nuke a mob before it heals and maintains life.
Same reasoning above applies to M+ bosses or raid bosses.
Now, I agree venthyr has been made weak to everything else in the bigger picture. Situation wise, don’t worry too much, there is some utility in our condemn. The fact it ignores armour is a nice thing too.
Venthyr needs a buff in PVE, it’s a long way behind - leave PVP alone.
It doesn’t have to be top dps in any area, but it’s pretty shoddy of Blizzard to make it worst in both single target and multi target encounters.

Like I said. Be my guest for a PvE buff

covenants weren’t ever going to be balanced, you just pick what is the best. there is no choice. arms warrior is arguably one of the easiest and strongest classes in game in just about every tier of content. pvp and raid. you have 3 buttons and your covenant. stop complaining. you’ve not even completed the raid on hc yet.
Are you really trying to troll people by saying they shouldn’t talk about their spec because they haven’t completed heroic?
At least try and be creative if your going to try and troll; that attempt just makes you look bad for utter lack of creativity.
Venthyr is running 2000-3000dps behind on many bosses; which is nonsensical given that is as a result of blizzards ‘tuning’ with this patch and obviously it’s far from the only one recently.

I switched to ventyr to check out this week. Well, it’s absolute disaster. Arms and fury both. Even fury with sinful surge is good on paper, in practice it worse than test of might in bfa. You literally can’t do mechanics or you easy go down near ventyr protpally.

Its hardly a troll, its just a statement of fact. Take any class, doesn’t matter which. Lets take DH, if I choose venthyr, or necro as havoc, hell if I choose kyrian I’ll lose 3-4k dps, so you don’t take it, you take NF. If I played ret pala I’d be meming if I took necro etc. When it comes to raiding, 1 covenant is always ‘bis’. When it comes to warrior, NF is now bis, venthyr was bis last tier. Much like ww, what is ‘bis’ or better for ease of play is now different. Same with all the mages having to swap to venthyr and swap spec. Its what it is. They can’t balance their game, you think they’re gonna worry about specific covenant balancing between specs? Venthyr is hardly bad in pvp, kyrian is kinda busted in pvp for arms, it causes more issues than you seem aware of. And for any player who isn’t playing competitively (top 50/2.4+), it honestly should not matter what you choose, and it doesn’t.
Then you’re agreeing with everyone who is saying they’ve done a poor job balancing. You just didn’t need to imply only people who are mythic raiding are entitled to an opinion.
The bit that is most irritating with the state of Venthyr is they flipped it from being a good choice to being so woefully bad it’s beyond terrible in comparison to the other covenants. You can say if you intensely fan renown you can get up to 60 in a few days; well I have a demanding job, I have kids I play wow for downtime not for a second job to spend it grinding something i’ve already spent time grinding to level. The whole system is a fail. Blizzard hasn’t moved with their player base. Most players started with the game in the first 5-6 years and they were either kids or young adults with plenty of free time to grind whatever they needed. However, I would say the average age (if my guild and most of those I meet in the game is anything to go by) off player is probably now in their early 30’s. Most have far more real world responsibilities and having a game which asks you to grind isn’t as easy or fun, to make you then regrind something you’ve already spent time doing just to be competitive is a joke and provides a terrible customer experience.
