It feels difference with better gear this week and multi log was ok. But, ST is crappy so buff Void Bolt is needed? Thats why we dont bring shadows for progress because of ST. It is way too much nerf for shadow as you know itself.
I think f they specifically buffed mind flay, mind blast and voidbolt, our ST would be ok.
The good thing about them is too that you can buff them really a lot without affecting Shadow’s overtuned spread cleave damage.

get over it. This Expansion is done enjoy being Garbage on ST unless you got the right corruption and the Rest of your Raid does not

I really do not want to see any more buffs to mind flay. It’s already the highest % damage filler in the game on single target, and would force us to plant our feet to maintain good single target even more.

Don’t disagree, optimal would be getting buff for mind blast/void and voidbolt, but they probably want to keep us down somehow anyway lol

I was watching stream that shadow was in raid. He was doing great, almost top. Unfortunately, he had to bench after many tries because of ST is not enough. So they killed it after few tries and it was progress. It is sad!
The adds are either completely irrelevant damage, or need to be bursted down so fast that shadow does nothing to them, so yes that’s unsurprising. Should play lucid ToF, dot the iron bois boss and ascendant, otherwise st boss and help out a bit on the spinny bois if they leap out of the deathball.
When will they realize how weak shadow is? Do they even look at this class? Doubt!
They likely won’t because the problem is as much one of numbers as it is the delivery and pattern of that damage, which is something stats simply won’t tell you.

Look at that the numbers seems to favour shadow priest now.

The spec is climbing on the dps rankings a lot.
And that with 0 class tuning.
This should be sad for you as it means people will prob stop complaining now.
Spec still sucks at single target and stacked cleave, the two things pve content are most built around historically, but yes.
I am a little disappointed blizzard designed yet another raid that, at least for the majority of those raiding mythic, allows a fundamentally badly designed spec to continue to perform well enough for none of its problems to be seen as problems by the wider community, let alone fixed.
Fingers crossed for Shadowlands.

Blizzard decided we are ok. it is sad that they dont want to admit they overtuned Shadow, specially singeltarget.
whats even more fun is that in pvp we r allready in the botom of the foodchain and ww gets even more pvp damage lol

Im not a full time priest but I ran a dungeon with 1 searing dialouge and 2 CoI and it made a hell of a difference to stacked cleave. I was surprised how much dmg I was pumping out to be honest.
That breaks apart the only thing letting us do semi relevant single target.
Just move on, they dont know how to fix this class as always. Unfortunately!

Last I checked having a trait that provides zero single target value is a problem in raiding and single target, given stacked cleave was in reference to how much of that there is in this tier’s raid encounters.

i did 18 WM as a shadow( im disc main) and trashes didnt even last for 1 minute for my crit to be any high or worth anything. And its forti week. In s3 i had no problems beating rogues and dhs. Now im always 15k behind. If shadow cant shine on forti weeks high keys, i dont know what should i be playing with it.
How are people who don’t play spriest coming onto a forum about buffing void bolt and telling us how our class is played. It is very annoying forum warriors thinking they know everything.
