- All damage is increased by an additional 2% while a two-handed weapon is equipped.
Imo this is so funny, it is like saying we hear you, you got your buffs now shut up.

I thought that my expectations were at the absolute lowest possible level, presuming that we would be given the no-thought, uninspired, lazy and tone-deaf 5% damage buff that many consider to usually be a guiltless slap in the face from Blizzard, and apparently even that was too generous of a presumption
Thanks for the 2%, I guess. I am truly elated that the discrepancy between DW vs. 2H will now be marginally smaller and I can continue to convincingly out-DPS myself with DW comparatively to 2H, albeit to a slightly worse - and likely almost indiscernible - degree. That is, after all, exactly why I wanted a 2H buff - to continue to not perform(?).

well well well so that’s all blizzard was able to manage this time for frost death knight sure is great the passion they are showing for their playerbase 2% whit a hurr durr its supposed to BaLaNcE but this all we got sins OCT nerf let that sink in no adjusting of talents no propper tuning to the spells in need just go nuts 2% for our spells and CHILL F STREAK for that really needed that 2% buff damn they are bad and lazy ASF
aight remember JAN is now we start to count from now to the next class tuning for frost lets count the weeks from now and se how long it takes blizz to se that frost as a whole are in a bad shape and breath should be deleted

Nice to get something but obviously we need more, imo the most important thing is to get PoF back to 15 secs and 45 secs cd.

So, they buffed the worst build of one if the weakest specs in the game by f…ing 2%. Idk what to say. This won’t even make 2h catch up to DW, let alone other classes.

i play my low ilvl dk and (prot) pally equaly much (155-170) and everything is sooooo much easier and faster with the pally. The 2% is not going to change anything. My pally hits with 3000-4000 on a good day with MUCH better healing, 1800 armor and plenty AOE, where my dk’s best dmg reach 1700 dmg on a lucky punch with 900 armor and crappy healing… and im talking holy dk vs prot pally

What i can make out of it, and by the gods i hope i am right, is that this buff is just to make DW and 2H equal, and the next major patch will feature a lot of changes to frost DK, the ones we deserve.

I don’t think that’s the case. The difference between DW and 2H is bigger than 2% even with just the 2 weapon enchant difference alone. And then breath build is still a nope for 2h. I just simmed the difference between 2h and dw on my character. 213 ilvl 2 handed weapon with best stats and 216/200 ilvl one handed weapons. The difference is 477 dps between them, DW breath being the better which is still inferior to most specs in the game.
I don’t see it as a first step, it’s more like a “let’s write something in the hotfix notes maybe that will shut them up”. If they would have any clue about what to do with us, we would’ve gotten a rework by now, and if they would care, there is no way that the only thing we would get is a 2% buff to one weapon type.

They just show that they know about fdk, but don’t want it to be better. That’s it. I actually don’t understand why most of fdk don’t want to reroll unholy. At the end of the day didn’t you pick a class and not just a spec when you created your character?
