Priests getting buffs. Locks are still broken no nerfs. Mage still unplayable, untouched… wth??
Well i mean it’s Shadow buffs, how many Shadow Priests have you seen so far?

if you watch Sarthes first raid on Youtube, they had a shadow priest , the poor fella did 100 parse, with 67 dps lol
if you are nailing your class 100% and still doing half the damage of some other specs, yea, they need the buff

Yeah shadow damage isn’t great. Priests are currently strong because of the healing runes (mainly Penance imo, which could use a number nerf). Though, I would be careful of giving priests too many early buffs for their shadow damage. Once we get Shadowform things might look quite different.
I do wish that we would have gotten some rune that’d made holy dps viable, some smite rune or what have you… Oh well…
Shadow priests needed them. They should probably buff them even more.

I mean, it’s not a big deal for Blizzard to change the Values now to make them more competitve and tone them down later on if it turns out to be way to strong.
That would be one way to do it. Have they voiced anything about that, i.e. are they considering that way of balancing as an option going forward?
I mean it’s pretty much what they will have to do anyways, once certain Classes unlock more Talents, Abilitys and future runes.
I suppose. I am simply jaded from how Blizzard has handled balancing historically. Letting blatantly op or un-fun specs run rampant for ages while they “wait and see”.
