Bug after landing, running into invisible walls and more

Hi, I’ve encountered different problems since I started playing BFA.
Whenever I use a flightpath, just after landing my character won’t move for several minutes, sometimes 1 or 2, other 5 or 10. I can move the camera and press W so it starts running in place but getting nowhere. This happens almost everytime.
Also sometimes when I’m in a new zone (for example, I’ve just used my hearthstone) and I start walking, suddenly I run into an invisible wall that won’t let me pass through. This usually happens when the area isn’t completely loaded, but just the details and the NPCs, not the terrain or such.
The last problem I’ve been suffering is that sometimes when I open the game and my character appears on screen it begins to move in circles, this also last several minutes everytime it happens.
And of course, eternal loading screens, sometimes it takes so much to load that it takes me of the server.
My computer is a macbook pro from 2012 with OS High Sierra. I know it’s a little old, but it meets all of the requirements from the game and it should work. I even run the game with very low graphics and such. This didn’t happen when playing before getting to Zuldazar / Kul Tiras.
Please, help me, whenever I want to play WoW I start thinking about all the time I waste in loading screens and bugs and it just makes me want to stop playing altogether.

Today has been quite laggy in game for me. I was stuck on a flight path mount in Stormsong earlier today and then eventually it ported me back half way through the the zone and dumped me somewhere the FP doesn’t go.

Bnet has been showing my friendslist logging on and off repeatedly as a whole.

I think the game is just having a bad day.

I appreciate the answer, but sadly this is something that’s been happening for about a month now. It just so happens that today is when I got tired of it hahaha

What kind of connection are you using? (wired or wireless) It sounds more like a connection problem than something caused by an old computer.

I use a wireless connection, I also thought about that, but I didn’t have a problem before so I don’t know… Nonetheless, thank you, I will try connecting the computer directly

Basically, the way the game seems to work since the introduction of cross realm zones is that when you land from a flightpath you get connected to (more often than not) a different shard. Your description sounds like packet loss, or the connection timing out to the server and failing to pick itself back up at a normal pace. I’ve seen it happen to many people on wireless, especially when they were using the 5Ghz band of the router instead of 2.4Ghz (WoW seems to not play nice with 5Ghz) so if you can test with a direct connection it’d be a good starting point.

In addition to Nyshae, while you fly can see mine, herb spots or rare as TimeLost Proto Drake and when landing, they are not in your zone  But for your problem I think can be HDD delay or poor internet connection.

Can try to ping google.com with: ping google.com -t in command prompt and play warcraft. When problem occurs got to that command prompt and see if there is “request time out”, this means connection problem.

If it’s HDD problem can see if your HDD led indicator works all the time. Mechanical HDDs after some time begin to work slower, specially the older one.
