I think you need to talk to a guy in sw to get a quest to gurn in somwhere. Then you need get the quest from if after.
You havent done the weaponsmith quest I’m guessing?

Maybe it’s like that really because of the boost. My level 39 engineer can take the quest for specializing in Tanaris, my boosted level 67 with 345 engineering doesn’t get the quest. The Tanaris NPCs just don’t offer the q.

I had same problem without boosted character. But i did accept a quest in sw “talk to a guy bla bla” after it was done i got the if quest unlocked.
There is no quest. You need to complete a dialogue option, and the quest will pop up. If you are trying to do axe/sword/hammer without doing the weapon smith quest, you are doing it wrong. And since most people are able to complete these quests without any issues, I’m pretty confident that there is no bug.
Do read the guides carefully before making a post on the forum.
I think that he has the same problem as me, there is no dialogue.
Normally for engi the guy in Org should send me to Tanaris which he didn’t. Trying to talk to the guy in Tanaris doesn’t open any dialogue.

Ok, my problem has been solved. I had to go to the trainer in Ratchet.
Maybe, @Reimuhakurei you need to find a trainer somewhere in the world, not in a city, who will tell you where to go next.
