I highly doubt this is intended, as the spells are supposed to be transferred to the caster rather than be considered as dispelled. As of right now, they don’t just go back to the caster, but also trigger the damage/silence from Unstable Affliction, or the horror effect from Vampiric Touch. Untested, but it’d likely happen with Flame Shock as well.
I know Reverse Magic on Demon Hunter does not trigger the effects when used, so Diffuse Magic should work no differently and I do not recall it triggering them in the past.
Magical In-Game Bug Report
CS doesn’t handle nor forward bug reports: We submit bug reports through the In-Game Bug Report in the Europe Region.
Reports submitted in this fashion will not receive a response. Instead, they’ll be directed to the teams responsible for addressing them.
To report a bug in-game:
- Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
- Click Support.
2.5 Note: Do NOT use search bar or click “Contact Support” links.
- Click Submit feedback or bug report, the middle button in the row with the Anub’Arak bug/insect icon.
- Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
- Click Submit.
