I am quite a bit into the questline, I am at Forging the Armor where I have to present the armor to Ignis by standing in a circle and there is supposed to be a button that pops up for me to click so I can channel or whatever. But there is no button. I have tried relogging, abandonning/re-accepting and turned off addons and even reset my ui to classic, but still nothing!
It is a remix character, lvl 71. Someone please help!
Turning off all addons would have been my first advice. But you say you did that.
That button is specifically called the Extra Action Button. Do you see it in other places? What is it mapped to in your Keybinds?
Looking at about 1:40 into this video
are you forced into the slow-walk effect as you approach the anvil?
Do you get the acknowledgement in red text above
"Bring the Molten Metal to the Great Anvil 1/1"
If you had to slow-walk and see the acknowledgement , then the problem is with your EAB itself. Otherwise, it is something else.
Its a 3 step quest, first you use the extra action button to make it near Brann and it was showing there. It then makes you walk to Ignis (yes slowed) and you have to step into the circle near him and the lava and it is there it wont work. So the step before the anvil. It just doesnt appear. Even though it was there for the step before.
OK, so if your EAB worked in the first step, that rules out any interface problem.

If not, then it may be something about your position.
