I am noticing this issue in the prepatch where Leap and Gnaw keep resetting to automatic cast even if I manually disable it in the pet spell page. Tested on multiple death knights. This is a major issue in PVP. Could you please look into this Blizzard?

Yes. I did an Atal 24 as Unholy yesterday wasting my stuns (Gnaw) because of this issue.
I hope Blizzard fix it as soon as possible.
Yes, its extremely infuriating. I am getting this each time I summon a new pet.
this has not happen to me, i got it binded and it have not turned on autocast.

I have 5 dks and it happens on each of them. Each pet resummon causes the same issue. It’s really a hassle at this point and has put me off completely so levelling alts until this is fixed
This annoying bug still exists as of 25/10. Can someone from Blizzard at least confirm if this is being looked at? Unholy is unplayable in serious arena because of this as I can manually turn off gnaw and leap at beginning but once pet dies and has to be resummoned, its back to auto cast again. I cba having to manually disable the auto cast on those 2 abilities each time I summon a new ghoul
I have found out what is causing this bug. Turns out that if you remove Gnaw and Leap from the Petbar they keep reverting to automatic cast on everytime a new pet is summoned or on new logins. This happens to everyone by the way. Feel free to test it. I hope this is fixed as it is annoying to have to use default petbar just for this.
