Currently, a bug when you use Grappling Hook as a Rogue (in my case, Outlaw) brings us out of stealth, it commonly doesn’t do it.
As well, it seems more common that the Grappling Hook fails to actually hook to anything, even when it is on flat ground.

Then you don’t know blizzard. This have probably been reported on beta since beta day 1, all every report have been promptly ignored.
I have not had issues with the Grappling Hook up until the past 2 days.
Other spells aren’t working as intended. Such as Deep Breath and Dream Flight.
Sometimes when using them they bug out and do the animation, but stay in place and do no Damage/healing.
I’m having trouble with Stealth randomly breaking despite not taking dmg in PvP. It is really obnoxious for a class revolving around stealth and your opener.
Don’t play Outlaw, so haven’t tried this. Doubt it is intended though?
Still not fixed, hook should not remove stealth…
why not? does blink not remove invisibility?
Not quite the same thing? One has always been a thing, the other has never been a thing.

did you spec into subterfuge recently ?
i noticed it only happens when you pick the subterfuge talent
i’m surprised no rogues are complaining about the completely broken combo points bar in the personal resource display.
I dont have stealth issue but I experience Hook failing in certain scenarios which is annoying
The issue before reset was that stealth would break when using Grappling Hook (for many), this was an issue as Outlaw Rogue.
The Hook would break stealth for many (luckily fixed now), and what you mention is an issue, and has been for two expansions.
I know why it glitches, but its still annoying

it never happened to me unless i’m spec’d into subterfuge
