My lay on hands mouse over macro has stopped working today unless I take the Empyreal Ward talent.
I get an error message when I try to use it without the Empyreal Ward talent that says “Spell Not Learned”. The issue happens on all Paladin specs.

I have noticed this as well. People have been reporting this bug on the US forums for months now.
Sadly i can’t offer a good workaround. Actually targeting your ally and then pressing the button works but is very time consuming during combat.
Blizzard needs to finally fix this. Ret pally is really popular and this bug prevents them from using on of their strongest group utilities.
Bumping this because this is still not fixed or even addressed by Blizzard. And as has been said, it’s a popular class. I am actually forced to take this Empyreal Ward talent so my mouseover macro doesn’t bug out.
Thanks all! A bit of a weird one, but we do have a bug open for this. No word on a fix though so plan accordingly but hopefully it can be sorted eventually!

This has been reported by many players before and Blizzard closes the threads by saying “we are aware of the bug”. ???
When are u going to solve it? Is there a workaround?
The only workaround is forcing us to waste 1 talent point. So with no fix in sight I propose them to make the Empyreal Ward talent baseline and give us the option to put that one talent point elsewhere, thanks in advance.
