Hello Blizzard Team,
I have encountered some issues while running the Dawnbreaker dungeon in Mythic+ as a Warlock, and I believe these are unintended interactions affecting gameplay. Below are the details of the problems I faced:
- Obsidian Beam Interaction with Demonic Circle (Spell ID: 48018): During the fight against Speaker Shadowcrown, when she casts Obsidian Beam (Spell ID: 453310), I use my Demonic Circle (Spell ID: 48018) to teleport away from the beams. However, despite clearly avoiding the beam visually, I still take damage as if I had made contact. This behavior seems inconsistent with the intended functionality of Demonic Circle, which is supposed to allow Warlocks to quickly reposition and avoid harmful effects. It feels like the ability isn’t properly recognizing the movement or avoidance, which diminishes the utility of this core Warlock skill.Obsidian Beam Details for Context:
- Obsidian Beam: Speaker Shadowcrown ejects dark energy at her current target, inflicting massive Shadow damage and additional ticking damage every second upon contact. This effect stacks, making it critical to avoid.
- Unintended Pulls by Warlock Pets (Diabolist Spec): While playing as a Diabolist Warlock, I frequently summon demons that have special abilities. However, these summoned pets often pull mobs that are not in combat, even when I’m positioned correctly and not intending to engage those mobs. This behavior is leading to unintended mob pulls, which can ruin Mythic+ keys due to aggroing packs that are not meant to be engaged at that point. I believe this issue significantly disrupts gameplay and affects the strategic use of Warlock pets, which should be reliable without causing unintended consequences.
I hope this feedback can help in adjusting these interactions to align better with the intended mechanics. The Warlock class relies heavily on positional and pet management, and these bugs undermine that experience. Thank you for your attention to these issues.
Best regards,
Harcks
