I tested this conduit which was originally a protection only conduit now available to all spec’s. It doesnt work on prot, ret or holy. Did some testing to see if it would proc on other players and the results were a flat out negative.
Would be nice for blizzard to resolve this issue and this is a nice little bonus for all specialisations, perhaps this could become illuminated barrier v 2.0?
I thought the same thing but it’s not bugged. It’s only effective healing done which becomes the absorb and it’s only placed on yourself so not other players.
Checked “My actions” and “What happened to me” no mention of an absorb, unless it is not tracked, it didn’t register on my details log of absorbs or healing either. There is a bug as reported in wowhead:
I tested it in many bgs yesterday and it’s working as it appears in recount and as a buff. It doesn’t count over healing only effective healing so you need to heal someone that has taken damage.
Which also makes it kinda average because if you heal with WoG for 4000 on a target that lost 2000 hp it becomes 15% of the 2000 healed not the full 4000.
