Can’t play my level 60 characters that aren’t done with that content yet. Please update the experience eliminator. Should be no more than one line of code…
Still hasn’t been fixed.
If your character is 60 or above you cannot disable XP this is intended.
Should you have another problem report it as bug below:
CS doesn’t handle nor forward bug reports: We submit bug reports through the In-Game Bug Report in the Europe Region.
Reports submitted in this fashion will not receive a response. Instead, they’ll be directed to the teams responsible for addressing them.
To report a bug in-game:
- Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
- Click Support.
2.5 Note: Do NOT use search bar or click “Contact Support” links. - Click Submit feedback or bug report, the middle button in the row with the Anub’Arak bug/insect icon.
- Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
- Click Submit.
If prompted to go to US Bug Report forum, go back to step 2.5
You can submit a bug report ingame if you follow the instructions to this big Anub’Arak icon.
As Saneko said
They eliminated the experience eliminator for characters 60 or over. Intended change, and not a bug.
Sorry just had to make the “Eliminated the Eliminator” pun.
Your link shows no such intentions, and it definetly shows no reasoning behind such a decision.
There is no good justification for this. I’ve spent hundreds of hours intertwining my characters in a story. That story is not fulfulled, and Blizzard should not force me to out-pace that content. Bottom line, I’ve paid for it. It’s a ready feature that is not working as intended. It is by definition a bug.
Call it a bug or stupid, doesn’t matter. It should be fixed. They are wrong for this, it shouldn’t be accepted.
Because it’s not broken.
It’s so very obvious that you cannot lock your experience when you are at the level where you are heading into Dragonflight.
Just think about it for a moment and stop being selfish. I’m sure you’ll understand.
I’m not sure how the support article is unclear for you as it has also been updated 1 month ago, however the change is intended.
It is not possible to turn off experience for characters that are level 60 or above. For characters level 59 and below, visit Behsten in Stormwind or Slahtz in Orgrimmar to turn off experience gain.
Experience points can no longer be disabled in current expansion content, only in previous expansions. It’s not a new feature.
