Bug: Trade Window

Hey
for ages I have had this issue and its annoying me a lot when I use two accounts as I’m trading a lot of transmog between them.

This bug happens with no addons, clean reinstall etc.

  • If I trade items with a two hour trade window it does not appear in my trade window, but it does appear in the other players/client’s trade window.
  • This bug does not happen with items that doesn’t have a two hour trade window.
  • This bug does not happen if I first click right click player’s unitframe & open Trade window first!

Reproducing bug Example:

  1. I click the item
  2. I click the player’s frame
  3. It opens trade window.
    On my screen the trade window is empty but on the other client the item is in the trade window.
  4. I try to right click the item in my bag. Nothing happens the first time.
  5. I try to right click the item again. Now it shows up in the window on my screen.

Addisonal info: while the item is not showing on my screen - if I click a random item with or without 2 hour loot duration, it replaces that items spot on both clients and it works as intended.

I have this exact same thing - very annoying

You can only trade them when you both were there for the item drop.

This is about characters that are able to trade. It’s about a visual bug.
when I try to trade someone or my other character while doing legacy dungeons/raids. If you read it again, I do say Im able to trade it, but its bugged on one of the character’s screen.

Try a drag and drop then, into the top window. I have a feeling it’s going into the bottom part, the obvious thing is it’s an addon causing it.

Well I have tried :frowning:
it works as normal if you open trade window first, but thats not the point of this post. It’s about fixing the bug thats happening when you click an item and than click on the player you want to trade it to

Bugs are reported ingame, that is the only thing you can do. Not what you want to hear I know but it’s the only way.

yeah, I agree with you. I have reported it multiple times. Just hoped for some “feedback” for once.
