We used to be able to clear all menus (like spellbook, map, lfg ect) with esc key, but since the new ui change this does not work while in combat. If you are mid pull on a raid boss and fat finger one of these, you can not clear it unless you fumble about to click the little x.
Please fix. It is VERY ANNOYING.

I am not sure that there is anything to “fix”.
Mine all still work in exactly the same way they always did, with ESC still closing them as normal. Are you sure its not something wrong with your config/setup?
Seems you are right. After reading this comment I toggled my addons off one by one. I narrowed it down to being the addon Adibags causing the issue.
