I tried and tried and tried, Jumping in and out of water activating flight form sober and drunk. Jumping or flying off Dalaran, flying drunk as a skunk … Not a single DC to show for all my jumping and drinking … hic!
Are you 100 % certain it’s not an addon interfereing with the ‘sneakoscope’?
There is a high chance for this. I am an addon andy.

Literally just had this bug happen to me twice while flying around, same deathknight deathgrips me while flying and I instantly disconnect both times. Absolute joke that a bug like this is in the game and hasn’t been fixed.

not on topic but i always thought a skill that makes ANOTHER PLAYERs toon move is completely wacky. CC is ok and should be minimized but actually MOVE AROUND MY CHARACTER? insane
Yeah wackily and insanely good ability.
I still need to find a nice (or not) DK willing to Death Grip me … all the other things herementioned did not DC me. 
Today I was randomly kicked from the server because I hugged the wall inside alliance IC ship while on flying mount. This anti-cheat is so poorly done.
20 minutes ago I and my friends joined WG battle. Two of us mounted a vehicle and it disconnected us. When we logged back in we were stuck on place. Even tho we could technically move client side on server side we were on one place. Everyone else could see us in workshop. We could damage everyone inside workshop and they could not damage us. I had to stand on place for 20 minutes and even when I died I was just stuck on GY.
At least I contributed to the match by damaging horde that tried to mount vehicles cancelling their cast.

Had same issue in wintergrasp when entering a vehicle lol.
Really needs a fix at least when your character dies.
This happened back in original Wrath, intentional bug that’ll be fixed soon.
It doesn’t disconnect for me on flying mount drunk
