Everytime I use flying mount while drunk or DK uses Death’s grip on me I instantly get disconnected and DK obviously kills me. How can this be still in the game? That is critical bug for sure…
And again…Twice in 30 minutes I was gripped and dced by DK. Dead again.
This ruins my mood so ******* much.
This bug exists since TBC classic and nothing was done about it. I feel like I am gonna play DK and grip mounted players all day so there are enough complaining players and Blizzard cares.
I get that this is a major P.I.T.A. and Blizz should make this top priority!
Only one curious question: How can a bug involving DKs have existed since TBCC?
Because it is not Death’s grip bug. It is anti-cheat bug. It registers unusual movement and kicks you from the server.
Is being death-gripped an unusual movement?
I do not understand, Unusual movements normally implies some sort of brains, while rhytmic, serial, repeated movements are the symtoms of bots (autiomated).
Well, I just feel confused, and hope that Blizz will sort this out. I think their bug resolving has grown just a little bit better recently.
Deathgrip teleports the player on the server. It is movement that is created by the server, not the player. Thus, the anticheat detects it as a speedhack / tekeport hack because velocity per time is too high.
STUPID
So far I was kicked by anti-cheat system 6th times today. I hope I can get to 10 without using single cheat 
Are you totally sure it’s the anti-cheat system and not some addon … only asking because I have now tried doing loads of strange things in game without being DCed

Jump in water + Druid Cyclone - 1x
Flying when drunk - 2x
I’ll haveto find a friendly - or rather the opposite - DK and test this
At least flying whilke drunk does not DC me … hic!

ah i remember getting gripped by dks in vanila classic this bug is older than tbc classic

Yes it is, same as taking off too fast when leaving Dalaran.
My muscle memory for takeoff is literally getting me disconnected, at least on laggy layers.
I tried drunk flying with no DCs. Next must be jumping off Dalaran from the sewers. Drunk . must be fine unusual 
Ive experienced this as well, my druid got dced everytime I tried to jump out of water and use flying form. Dced 15 times in a row
