Yesterday I looted out of a [Draconic Recipe in the bottle] a [Recipe: Filet of Fangs]. This was a recipe that I already knew so I first tried to sell the recipe to the Auction House. But each time I tried to sell that particular recipe, I would get the message “internal Auction house error”.
At this point I decided to give away the recipe to a guildmate and I sent it in their mail along with my best wishes for happy cooking.
But when the main reached him, he said that the mail contained no recipe and only the text I wrote.
Now the recipe was gone, it was neither in my inventory nor in the inbox of the guildmate.
My first ticket was marked as “Resolved” by some automated reply urging me to use the forums etc because they have too much traffic right now.
After that I decided to check the option for mail recovery. I found the recipe on the mail recovery list but it would not restore it to me because my guildmate had opened the mail which should had been containing the recipe.
So I decided to make another ticket about how the guildmate could not receive the recipe in his mail and if support team could get them the item I was trying to send.
Is that an issue that has cropped up before? Did I take the right course of action with these tickets?
