It shows true incompetence to go through a development cycle of a patch, be repeatedly told at PTR testing that a major feature of the new patch wasnt working properly AND STILL GO LIVE WITH IT

It’s even more fun when you know it’s an 18k DPS upgrade to max it and now you can’t upgrade anything all week in case they fix it and you no longer have flightstones

How is this not just a 5-30 minute one man job? Surely they could copy paste the code from a regular working weapon and change the variables? If that doesnt work, change one at a time to determine the cause of the bug and work from there? its almost as if they dont have a qa team.

Answer is quite Simple - people noticed that error last night when it was after 17 us time.
Night shifts in game companies are long gone nowadays - they dont start their next shift untill like 16 eu time - so dont expect it to be fixed at least untill then
Besides live game is nowadays what in past beta was. So they dont care
Same company loaded everyone’s stash tab in d4. You shouldn’t have faith in them to be competent.
That’s just not true. It was reported on PTR that you couldn’t upgrade the weapon over a month ago.

At least they have acknowledged they are aware and are busy with a fix. Though to be honest something like this that is important to the player base should have been fixed prior to going live.
I think this is done intentionaly because they realised 535 weapons might be too op on week two, so they are eather trying to delay it or tuning weapons since it wasnt available on PTR so no one knew how powerfull it was. All in all huge disgrace for a company, now platers /evokers should stand in place while everyone is getting upgrades.

So my experience in the world of WARCRAFT today:
- Can’t upgrade my legendary.
- Only flower transmogs and butterfly wings.
- Had to kill the world boss 3 times to complete the world quest.
- Rolled a 84 on boots with avoidance, rolled a 72 on the same boots without avoidance. Guess what, I got the boots without avoidance.
I guess they want to get rid of me.
Don’t forget the bugged trading post mount !

Because releasing is now more important than quality, and we are all responsible for this.
We want content faster but with the same quality, I agree it’s un-acceptable but the majority would have whine way more if they delayed the patch by 1 week to fix the most important bugs.
That’s a problem for a lot of IT companies recently, people wants everything extremely fast and the companies wont hire 10 guys to ensure it can be done, even more after covid and the multiple budget restrictions.

At this point they really should just do a hotfix like: “If legendary = 1, then legendary ilvl = 535”
It’s so embarrassing and pathetic.
Yeah, this is a complete and utter joke btw. It was on the PTR for how long? obviously anyone with legendary was going to focus on this first.
Now you say “sometime” whens that? should we hold our bullion? our crests? flightstones. I don’t mind being patient but you should said specifically how long it will be.
Now many of us are sat here not sure what to do.
