BUGGED PET BATTLES AGAINST QUEST NPCs

wtf is going on with pet battles against NPCs. for eg:" liz the tormentor in stratholm pet battle, as soon as you get her to 1k hp, she instantly heals yet she has used no attack/spell to self heal, then on nxt attack she 1 shots all 3 of your pets," how can anyone progress when it is clear that there is major issues when doing pet battles against npcs, this npc is not alone, alot of the npcs that players have to battle against do similar things, deadmines being another the first npc you fight 1 shots your entire team on first attack.
good going blizzard, another wicked idea completly ruined, i would appreciate any help as to weather its a bug or im doing something wrong, as i am a player with physical disabilities

I will say to you what I say in every case where somebody claims there is a problem with a pet battle or a strategy.

  1. Check your facts before wasting people’s time
  2. Bring logs

Look at Liz’s abilities. Read the tooltips. Understand them.

If a strat failed for you, and you want help

  • Specify EXACTLY which species and breeds you used.

  • Specify whether you read a strategy and executed it manually, or downloaded and used tdScript.

  • Specify EXACTLY where the first unexpected thing happened, the first thing that deviated from what the strat predicts. What died too early? What didn’t die when it was supposed to? What attack missed?

  • If possible, provide a log. You can see your log in the Pet Battle tab of your chat box. You can pull that out, make it bigger, screenshot it. Better still, you can use the addon Battle Pet Log Keeper from Curseforge, and do /pblk and Save Battle when the battle you want to log is complete.

These tips do help.

When something goes wrong, don’t assume that the problem is in the strat you copied, or that the game is bugged. Figure out what’s happening.

In Liz’s case, her Torment ability, which she uses on rounds 1 and 7, hits each of your pets for 20% HP, and she heals for that amount.

Torment
5 Round Cooldown

100% Hit Chance

Damage all enemy targets for 20% of their current health, and heal for 100% of that amount.

So that ability really whacks your whole team, and heals her up.

I appreciate that you are still learning, but examining what actually happened is a better way to learn than posting rants! :stuck_out_tongue:

Here is a log I saved from my initial testing of Stratholme, which might illustrate:

It appears that you only have eight level 25 pets.

Probably better use of your time to level up some pets rather than complaining about a dungeon you simply don’t have the roster of pets to complete.

Good catch!

Especially this week, when you can get a pet to 25 in 2 two-minute battles.

read post properly you moron, there should be no way my whole pet team can get one shotted in first round of pet battle (including 2 pets not in use), i asked for constructive comments not abuse from brainless idiots who get there rocks off abusing other players oh btw i am a disabled player,

Like I said, bring logs.

You may not even need to.

As soon as you look at the logs yourself, you will probably understand what happened.

ah yes, there’s no way it wasn’t a bug
