I tried some builds from wowhead and icy veins but Iam not sure about them so I went with my own after getting 4 piece:

Its for m+
What do You think? any improvement would be good!
Not bad… you can take Haunt or Darkglare i guess.
Not sure if Soul Rot cd reduction would have such big value in aoe, maybe take one point out and put into Darkglare…
Both did exactly same overall damage which was 73k dps.
With Dread Touch + Soul Rot it need more time to get use to, for sure there in area to min-max it. Benefits:
You can pop cds every pack and peak damage faster with Malefic Rapture + Drain Life at the end of Soul Rot dot.
It way way better on 2 targets boss 56k vs 71k, same on adds before last boss.
You can self heal heavy damage mechanics.
Only what I would consider would be to skip SDS and grab also Darkglare more possibility to double Drain Life

I would swap Absolute corruption for siphon life, since with seed spam corruption is up 100% and take one point of soul-eater’s gluttony for darkglare, since that extra point is maybe 10s off soul rot’s cd, which wont let you soul rot twice in a pack, but having darkglare, underwhelming as it is as a cooldown, is a qol for every other pack.
Multi Target
Seed → UA (or UA → Seed)
→ Vile Taint → Soul Rot
→ Malefic Rapture as much before Soul Rot at 1-2 sec
→ Drain Life big
Then refresh Agonies, UA and Seed spam.
Single Target
UA → Corruption → Agony → Drain Soul 3x ticks
→ Vile Taint → Soul Rot
→ Malefic Rapture x times
Typically I wait with another Vile Taint for Soul Rot to come back
How about we take 1 point from soul eater gluttony and from wrath of consumption (is it worth the 15% if most damage would come from seed in packs and useless with bosses) and maybe take malevolent visionary for bosses? or hount for the 10%
I feel like Tormented Crescendo is a mandatory talent with the 4 pieces. Additional 40% for free is nice and when drain soul procs I use it as a filler. I think I will take from malevolant visionary for Haunt because the 10% from everything is better than 12% from only Darkglare I think. I would look like this.

I would remove one point from Soul-Eaters Gluttony and put it in wrath of consumption for M+. Wrath of consumption is insanely good in M+ … It has to be better than 1 point in soul-eater gluttony, even in tyrannical weeks, because dont forget that you procc it easily during bosses aswell when there are adds that die. E.g. 1st boss nokh, 1st and last boss SMB, last boss temple.
While the buffed Drain Soul + Soul Rot combo is insane (I use this on Council), I don´t think it is better than Soulflame. Maybe Inevitable Demise is better than Soulflame in 1 or 2 dungeons… like maybe HoV?
However, if you could compare the dmg done by IV (drain life) and soulflame please let me know of the results. Just make sure that you test it in the same dungeon with similar buffs. I’d suggest comparing them in a dungeon where soulflame deals a lot of damage, e.g. Algethar and one where it deals less damage, e.g. HoV.
I suspect that IV could be better on tyrannical weeks for certain dungeons, since it is not just an increase to ST but also survivability. I´d imagine that it wouldnt be too shabby in nokhud either although the pulls are very big. However, in algethar, SMB and even Temple there are lots of tiny trash mobs that die fast and deal tons of dmg to bigger adds due to soulflame. Here, I think that soulflame would still be a clear winner, especially due to treeboss in algethar. A similar argument could be made regarding 1st boss in ruby life pools and the whelps, but i think that Soul Rot + IV would be very good for the rest of the dungeon so it is hard to tell.
Lastly, I also see the value of IV during fortified weeks, since you will get the IV - Soul Rot combo on 5 targets more often than on tyrannical, whereas the soulflame dmg should remain pretty constant. Only factor that changes is that soulflame deals more damage the bigger the pulls are since it deals AOE dmg to all nearby mobs… but I ve no idea how big of a difference it makes.
Inevitable Demise is mostly better than Soulflame in most dungs.
In NO19 it was 10kk ID vs 3kk SF. The higher key or more HP mobs have the value of Soulflame is less.
Soul Rot did another 10kk, when Grim Reach + Darkglare did also 10kk combined.
So unfortunately, as I do not like Soul Rot, it’s doing better with Inevitable Demise. Additionally it’s very hard to die on packs or bosses with healing from Drain Life until mechanic will not one shot you.
I would only consider Soulflame in AA on tree boss, then you can even leave instance and swap it.
Tried it and I feel its too much buttons to press. Absolute corruption I feel should be baseline for affi. Also all the quaking, thundering and spitefull makes it hard to stand still most of the time, not to mention the trash mechanics.
