What a reasonable adult with a normal mind would say and do:
“Oh, my guild has a very bad reputation. I might get some insults thrown at me in game. I have seen the Asmon interview and I agree that it’s nothing I wish to be associate with. Furthermore it isn’t worth the trouble since I just joined for the cool name and I don’t actually have any friends or connections in the guild”.
What Vinmar says:
“I just joined the guild because of a cool sounding name, I don’t have any connections or friends in it. But I stay anyways despite the trouble it might bring. Why you ask? Because I totally don’t do what 99% of the guild does, namely ERP”.

Be careful using that name. One of the people at Blizz (hopefully the guy got fired or removed with the whole France office thing) has a hard-on for that person for some really random reason and will silence/ ban everyone who speaks out against him or even dares to mention that name.
I’m aware, but I’d rather risk (yet another) suspension than censor the truth.
Now that you mention it… you’d expect the GMs to just put the truth on the table after years of this tomfoolery.
Imagine being in a guild and supporting it with a TRP making light / a kink out of that.
They can’t because it would be “targetting an individual”. Which I can fully understand.
The issue with that is people don’t target their GM out of nothing. People are presenting evidence with what is happening at Goldshire in tickets and Blizzard just doesn’t care.
Nobody in these forums here target people without a reason. Sure, there is dumb reasons like “haha you play X faction now I really dislike you” which generally happens out of the RPer crowd. But those people, same for the nelf poster, seems to be completely oblivious of that. Pretty sad.
GS lux, the OP of this thread (who apparently got silenced because he stopped posting), BouncyBum and many others are just making a target out of themself. Everyone knows that but Blizzard somehow ignores it.
@Anyone of these people, hit me up to add me on Discord for a call because I am very curious of the state of mind you are in. But I doubt anyone will because “muh internet anonymity”. … Or they will put up a voice changer.
The dream is a post about that GM and Blizzard knowing about their guilds antics, banning everyone in the guild permanently because WoW isn’t a place for stuff like that.
I am still waiting for the day until some grandma tweets at Blizzard why Goldshire is a thing and then some massive bad PR will come at them, forcing them to do something because her grandson / granddaughter had weird whispers happen to them. Remember what happened to Habbo? Something like that.
