I’d assume it will either be announced alongside 9.2.5 or the next 10.0, that is just a guess though.

Are we sure they’re from low pop to high pop, and not the other way round though?
I’ve just looked at one of those posts and it states:
“In order to balance queue times we are only offering transfers from high population realms to low/medium population realms.”
Well, I’m on two big servers in classic, and I cant move from them.

Well the Blizzard employee is technically just confirming Blizzard’s intent to offer bundles of character transfers.
It’s also my intent to work out more, but that doesn’t necessarily result in immediate action.
So, you know…
When hell freezes over.

As has been said before, screw the paid service, we need a realm merge or free transfers. Not something that will cost more than an expansion^^
Edit: And preferably not a realm merge because they were so bad at doing those that free transfers would be probably the best call.

Well it appears that there is something vaguely like a bulk transfer … but it’s more a limited time sale … and so far it doesn’t appear to be mentioned for the EU:

$80 for 8! Sigh. I don’t know why I was expecting something worthwhile. That’s scandalous even with the ‘discount’
Yup … it’s a stupid amount of money. I wouldn’t mind so much if that was translated down to per character … $10 per character is probably a bit more reasonable, but making it so you have to transfer 8 to get that type of deal is madness. I don’t expect many people will want to do that … and honestly, the majority of those will probably be on realms where really Blizzard should be transferring people off for free. It’s like some sort of ransom demand lol
