Bunch of LUA Errors?

Even without addons i get bunch of LUA errors,is this on my end or other people experience this as well ?

Same here, Moneyframe.lua error whenever i hover the mouse over a random gear piece

I got the same issue, but disabling your addons isn’t enough. I deleted all my addons and the problem was gone.

Yup. Everytime I play.. Mostly tooltip errors when hovering over an item in my bag.

Blizzard’s default UI elements are triggering errors as well so no one is safe.

I do have addons, but they have all been updated for the Midnight pre-patch. I fear the LUA errors are mostly on the Blizzard side of things. I’ve never gotten them before.

I also had these LUA errors for Blizzard’s own UI and for me the solution was to delete my own addons from the addon folder, even though they were all disabled. So somehow the addons were interfering with Blizzard’s own UI, even if they’re not loaded.

It doesn`t work for me, the MoneyFrame.lua error happens randomly on gear piece on mouseover

yes it is, i`ve deleted addon, residue folders on addon folder, reinstalled anew cancelling saved variables foder in wtf folder, cache folder, and it still happens, when i mouseover on random piece of gear in my character

Well the game was 126GB big with the preload and a day after patch it got reduced by almost 9GB. Who knows what they’ve cut out of the game files, intentionally or by mistake. This does not look like a files consolidation to me.

It definitely helps explain missing continent textures and mysterious rings above zones where they shouldn’t be.

What I’ve seen is that the problems seem in common, regardless of (re)install date so it can’t just be end-user side corruption. Sit back and wait until they catch up with latest of complaints.

Yes, I have the same problem. The errors all start with

this one, when you randomly mouseover on a piece of gear 
.
when you sell non junk ( leatrix plus sells automatically junk, but not green/blue/epic stuff ) or mouseover a piece of gear on your skillbar ( i use a “use” trinket that sometime click instead of hitting a button ) or use weightstone on weapons

Someone has created an AddOn to (temporarily) resolve the error. “MoneyFrameFix” by FootTapper. I downloaded it on CurseForge and I tested it, it works !

With regards to selling with the “sell junk” option, guildie last night who always used that was shocked when it instead of vendoring equipped it, replacing his proper gear. No idea if this is connected to the current game issues but just a heads up, be careful when you sell stuff.

It’d be nice if we could “lock” items to prevent anything from happening to them until said status has been removed from said item.

never had that problem, never sold green blue or epic gear by error .. maybe is some other addon that consider that gear not better and sell it automatically
