How come that when the burning legion is the main focus of an expansion it usually turns out good.
Kinda interesting right, tbc was a beloved expansion, and legion was also good.

now theres no burning legion. sad.
legion was a stupid lazerbeam hero expansion. it killed of the big bad villain. sad
He’s not dead, i think they can make an interesting story with Sargeras still.
roflmao. maybe make him sell loot for 25$
Wouldn’t having burning legion as the main antagonist for three expansions be a little boring? I’d like them to do something with Sargeras story wise in the future, but probably not in the role of a main antagonist.
And I don’t think the antagonist has to do that much with whether or not the expansion is successful, considering that it only has story relevance while the game play is completely separate.
i do not think sargeras will be an antagonist in the future.
Mine was just an observation that every time the burning legion is involved as the major antagonist the expansion is above average.
Maybe the wow team really goes does with legion as the main thing.
One of the major problems I have found with WoW expansions is that there is never enough green or purple. BC and Legion were a good start but it’s 2020 now and we are still lacking huge amounts of green and purple.
Also, we still only have 2 green classes and 2 purple classes.
Because fel fire is badass.
This is more like it. (will transmog later)
Also, arguably the best transmog come from burning legion expansions, legion and tbc have excellent transmogs.
because they are your typical tolkien big bad spikes arch villain
its literally a bunch of demons, so the story is easy to write and the armor is just about designing the edgiest deviantart armor you can think of
compare that to bfas attempt at a more serious war story and the villains become bad and the armor doesnt have an identity
I am not talking from a story standpoint specifically. it’s from a general prospective.
It just seems that blizzard does well in burning legion expansions.
Well gameplay wise a lot of people would argue the peak was Cata/MoP due to class depth and build variety. Legion was ok but it brought along the beginnings of the bad features of gameplay like legendaries and artifacts that we see in our classes today, i.e rental abilities that have no identity.
If its just the ‘‘feel’’ of the expansion to play it i dont think you can say one expac was objectively superior because every expac and era had annoying things and fun things for everyone.
I just noticed that you are in the burning legion server.
Anyway, i have to agree on a few things, i don’t wanna make this thread about this issue again, but, blizzard handled leggos, artifacts etc, after legion in the worst way possible. we should have been able to buy leggos from the start with the currency, artifact power should have been at least character wide, they removed tier sets, which could have been handled in a better way… And this general, new expansion, everything is new, let’s remove what you have worked towards for an entire expansion for this new gimmick. Kind of mentality pisses me off.
I really wish blizzard had a let’s improve things rather than replace kind of mentality.
