Burst dps difference of melee to warlock

Hey guys, so I have a sub rogue I’m just gearing up, my warlock is my main and recently achieved all my elite pvp gear.

My rogue is pvp ilvl 627 and my warlock is ilvl 635.

The burst difference though is stunning me…

My sub rogue does a burst of about 1.75million dps and sustains easily at around 1mil dps.

I don’t have all enchants, my gear is all blue…

Yet my warlock burst with mostly BIS pvp gear mex bursts at about 1.2million and settles around 700k.

This is all specs except destro… Affli bursts 1.2mil, demo bursts 1.2mil and both settle around 700k.

This is all single target dps btw. Destro doesn’t even break 1mil.

So what is going on, why is there such a gigantic difference? I can imagine as soon as my rogue is geared up I’ll be bursting for about 2-2.5mil.

Anyone else seeing this? I’ve mained warlock for years and I definitely know how to burst, I’ve only just started learning rogue again and I’m shocked.

I agree we are in a bad state right now.

However remember at the start of the season affliction had multiple weeks of dominance.

I’m hoping we get some balancing soon though.

destro locks never get love sadly my only lock spec that i like.
Also in pvp we are sitting ducks.
