I admit I haven’t taken much of a look at it for a while and the spec has changed several times since then but I’ll see what it’s like now and report back.
Gear and talents are what it shows on armoury, zero consumables used. If you need better gear to make for a lack of experience on the spec then go ahead, but know it’s nowhere near necessary.
P1: Kite Karam around and just build up resources, he phases at 33% so just make sure you have full insanity and don’t use any cds too early. You can voidform when he’s at like 38% just to get the gcd out of the way when Raest spawns.
P2: Pop the rest of your cds and nuke Raest, ignore everything else and just focus on getting a clean set of cds out. Move on instants to keep distance from adds and just try not to be inefficient. I got him down to 57% but anywhere in the 70% range is good enough.
P3: Kite Karam around in a large triangle of straight lines, try not to run in circles because raest will always cut the corner on you and gain ground. Use your CC when he gets close and run through / away from him in a straight line each time. Focus down the hands as they spawn, they should be pretty easy to kill without getting a cast off but you can silence / disperse the cast if need be.
Once Karam hits 33% again, P4 will start.
P4 is a short burn on raest, nuke him down as much as you can try to kite all the adds that spawn towards the back of the room to give yourself a clean area to run into to soak the rune. The rune will spawn in one of three places towards the middle / front of the room so the more adds you get to the back the safer you’ll be soaking.
P5 is Karam, Raest, Runes, Hands, and adds. Ignore Karam and adds completely and just kite / cc them when needed. Nuke raest and swap to hands as they spawn, being wary to keep adds kited to the back of the room outside of rune soak locations. Once Raest is around 20% health you can ignore every hand that spawns from then on and either silence, disperse, or desperate prayer their casts while you finish off the fight.
Overall the fight is a lot easier than it was when the mage tower was first reintroduced in Shadowlands, but it’s a bit harder than it was at the start of 10.1.
