Hi, I have Battle.net balance in my account and want to play WoW for 30 days. After that, I won’t be able to play for two months, so I only want to buy 30 days of game time.
Is it possible to purchase 30 days of game time for €13 using Battle.net balance? I can only find the option to buy 60 days for €25.
I’d really appreciate any help on this. Thanks!
Not possible, you can only buy 60 day gametime blocks with battle.net balance or sub in increments of 30, 90 or 180 days (and one year).
Thanks for your response. @Saneko
Oh, that’s not good for me. It’s not worth buying 60 days since I won’t be able to play for 2 months after the first 30 days.
Would it help if I opened a ticket? I’d really like to play for 30 days, but if that’s the case, I won’t pay double for the time I can’t use, to be honest. I just wanted to spend some time playing.
Agents wouldn’t be able to offer a seperate purchase option if you’d want that.
Generally, you’d only discuss in a ticket if let’s say something unexpected came up and you were stranded with a huge block of unused gametime and they’d grant an exception to refund you some back when you return.
But in this case you already know you won’t be able to use it all + it’s not a very large amount of time either.
You could try but I’d reckon the chances are very small that they can do something for you.
You can sub for 30 days and immediately cancel the subscription after being charged for the first 30. This way your time will not be renewed and you can still play 30 days.
I didn’t quite understand that. Do you mean I should pay with another payment method (not Battle.net balance), or do I need to buy 60 days for €25 and then cancel the subscription so that I can use the remaining 30 days later?
How exactly does this work? Sorry for the weird question—I’ve always used a different payment method before, but I don’t want to spend additional money. I just want to use my Battle.net balance until its 0, there a bit more money than 1-2 months payment
That would indeed be with another payment method, like a (bank) card. There’s no other option available for BNET balance.
- You sub for 30 days with a (bank) card.
- Once the charge goes through you go back to your subscription account page and cancel it.
- Since you already paid for 30 days, you can still enjoy 30 days but won’t charged again.
What you could also do is go ingame and buy a WoW token for gold and exchange that for 30 days gametime.
I have no game time for the past month. Okay, maybe I’ll just skip playing WoW for the next 30 days. Played also only 2 days last 30 days on my game time…
As I said, I don’t think it’s fair to pay for a 2-month subscription just to play for 30 days. Maybe there’s a reason why they only offer the 60-day option, but in my situation, it just doesn’t make sense to me.
Thanks a lot for your support!
Alright. Sad than no WoW for me for the next months
Thank you for your support and clarification of the situation
