Saw that!!! Much offended!! Lol
Radium I forgot we do have seven ducks in a man suit… (might be best not to question that one)

Not needed, i think that situation it very obvious!
No, there is always a risk of getting scammed there is no escaping that.
Best just to make sure to be able to make the achivments each tier if you want something from them. By the end of a tier there are so many weekly pugs that outgear the content. Cutting Edge is harder but AoTC everyone that wants should be able to do during the tier.
Some are safe, some aren’t safe.
You are risking your own coin as the boosting services do have some dodgy people.
imo legion felt longer than bfa tbh.
but i guess thats us waiting for shadowlands prepatch right now:
yes.
Then you should find it unethical when players that are simply horrible gets carried by their guilds and friends to highest achievments in both pve and pvp.
And this is a lot more common in mythic raiding then in heroic raiding. Same with high ranks in pvp. Alot of horrible player with cutting edge/high ratings and even gladiator who never paid for it.
Nihilum was an excellent example. A guild with a lots of really awful players who got raid spots every time due to priviliges/what faction in the guild they were in with ++
The design of the game allows for carries being done, paid or not.
I have pugged nya hero a lot and I have never been asked for that achiv =////
I even did wrathion mythic without being asked for it =/// (we disbanded after letting him at 20% or so)
I have also created a lot of pugs myself with a friend and nobody was ever surprised for our requirements. We even got mythic raiders sometimes, so I really dont think our req were unappealing to “good” players. (We just checked the progress both in normal and hero and then invited depending on what we needed)
Do you feel the same about raiding guilds giving away AOTC spots for free? I’d be curious to know whether it’s the transaction aspect which bothers you, or the quote-unquote undeserved achievement itself.
Well most of us use Raider IO and we can see what the person’s experience is when they apply. Including if they’ve only killed last boss
Usually the free AOTC’s given are due to the mount as much as I am aware.
They are, it’s definitely a mount run first and foremost. But it does grant a player AOTC in doing so, so I’m curious if that’s also considered a problem.
As puny mentioned a post ago, no one uses the AOTC achievement to monitor players anymore.
But this enters a very offtopic comments about how pugs are formed and other stuff.
I bought my AOTC Kill from Oblivion for 250K gold like a week after Mythic Ny’Alotha released!.
But yeah i would recommend Oblivion, you can just join their discord, and if you ever get scammed the peeps there will help you, to make sure you get what you paid for!
But yeah Boosting communities that sells stuff by GOLD is good to go.
But if you’re going with a community familiar to Galywix which sells stuff for real money, thats a Huge No No
When you’re looking for services make sure its boosts from Gold and not irl money, as you will get banned if you buy boosts with irl money 100%
And just so that there is no missunderstanding!.
Boosting for Gold = GOOD
Boosting for Real money = BAD
Oh and another thing, those Advertises in like /2 could be scammers, i’ve seen peoples in the Oblivion discord thats been reporting scammers pretending to be from Oblivion.
You have to realize that Gallywix operated for a long time before those accusations showed up. We all assumed that something was going on, but this is an assumption for every Boost platform.
Yes, but i don’t think it’s healthy for you to assume that every boosting community is being shady because of what Galywix did in the shadows.
If other communities does the same in the shadow, then Blizz will just ban the “Gold” Sellers and disband the community, it’s that simple.
Boosting communities should know whats ToS and what’s not, if they break the ToS ofc they should be banned for it.
Gladiator mount is prestigious. Heroic N’Zoth is not, especially this far into the expansion when people can walk all over him. If you’re paying for it, it’s not because you can’t do it, it’s just you can’t be bothered. Does it really matter?
Different people, different goal posts.
Fact is that both AoTC with the Voidling and Gladiator for this season will be gone with the mount associated with them.
It’s the transaction part.
I’m not opposed to charity, and I know a lot of guilds especially on RP servers are helping each other out right now giving AOTC for free.
I mean, HC raid as you said is really faceroll this late into the patch, it is easily pugged.
I could agree that you can’t be bothered doing Mythic raid, finding a guild that fits both your goals, schedule and that needs the classes you play.
Unless you really hate raiding, i would say buying an HC boost is not worth it
In hindsight i would have bought a 2h stack for NZoth on my warrior to avoid the RNG if i had the gold then. Less about not being able to pug it but more about me not wanting to deal with the RNG on the wep
