Why buy a laptop, when you can build a desktop by itself, for cheaper, and better?
If it is for convinience that you travel alot, sure.
The laptop itself, is good, nothing to say, and it will run WoW without any issues if that’s your question, even other game titles and good graphics.
But comparing a Laptop rtx 5080 and a full size desktop one, it’s not even close in comparison.
If you don’t travel alot and don’t need to move it around, I would suggest buying a desktop pc instead, not only will it be cheaper, but also more powerful all in all.
When I was shopping for a computer, I used ChatGPT for this. I asked him to compare the performance and value of various products I showed him.
I suggest you try that. Human input is overrated. We are lame, poorly optimized, and barely deserving of the warmth and touch of a loved one.
You cant get that to your work place in a bag and play games while you supposed to work 8 hrs a day…

Well if it is for convinience, such as traveling a lot and you need to bring a pc with you whenever you need to go, sure, the laptop is powerfull, and you will have no issues playing games on it.
Your old pc is a bit outdated, but still works, sad they don’t gonna bring graphic cards update to the 1080ti anymore, so would switch that one out as well with time.

Laptops are garbage. Go for desktop unless you absolutely need a laptop for some reason.
Performance wise it isn’t bad .but it gets really hot in summer .you can even cook and make an omelette on it xD
My brother has this laptop and it works okay in raids even .gives him more than 100 fps . Only time it falls to 60 fps or less is in dornogal .
ChatGPT often gives false or outdated information. I wouldn’t trust it for important actual stuff you need or when money is involved.
I have this and like it. No lag. If you have to move it around, it is quite heavy for a laptop.
