Bwonsamdi was by far the best character in this expansion. He absolutely stole every scene he was in. This character isn’t sympathetic, he doesn’t have any personal attachments to this world’s events, he doesn’t show any emotion or empathy, he is morally ambiguous and some may even argue that he’s evil. Yet he stole the show. His grim yet humorous remarks and total indifference for things that were extremely personal for others made him stand out from the bunch.
I still remember when I was running and using blink with my mage to escape from some NPCs, I died and then Bwonsamdi appeared and said “That blink didn’t get you very far now, did it?” Now this is the type of stuff I like to hear a Troll saying. This dude is the proto-Troll.
We need more Bwonsamdi.
Give us more Bwonsamdi.
I don’t know if anybody tried this, but if you fly over him in WM mode while he’s making a deal with the enemy faction, he tells you off for meddling with his deals, drags you into the sky and drops you to die from fall damage.
Despite this happening to me I still love the character.

Bwonsamdi is the stand-out character from this Xpac…hope Blizz continue to include him in WoW storylines, for a long time.
A cheap troll esque clone from the character shinigami of death note Ryuk and far less interesting than the model He is based on!
Again no imagination from Blizzard, just some blatant copying like primates do between each others.
Still awaiting the launch of your WoW beating game, Uss… the one with a story line that has never been used before, NPC characters and lore that have never been used before and game mechanics that get no criticism… it’s obviously very easy, so slightly surprised you haven’t released it already.
Then again, you appear to think Anime is the source for a character nod to Baron Samedi / Baron Samdi / Bawon Samedi / Bawon Sanmdi, one of the loa from Haitian Vodou… Samedi is a loa of the dead.
I died by a silly way (I honestly can’t remember what) but I’m pretty sure he laughed at me

big war in voldun for world quest I die during the whole fire thing, not paying attention to valkyr just looking to get to my body to fight when someone says " that blink didn’t get you far did it?!’’ , stop wondering and when i look i see this grim troll figure and think ‘‘O.o who the hell is this guy?!Where is the valkyr?!’’ only later i found out that is Bowsandi and is quite known by alliance when you die and the scene with the spirits.

I loved that he laughed at me for dying! I was a bit miffed when I died but his laughing at me made it feel ok! Great character!

If you’re using DBM, you can trigger bonbon’s “you died” speeches when your group or raid wipes. I have bonbon mocking me every wipe and I’m loving it!
