This is a nice change especially the anti daze trait.

In my opinion they should have removed that daze sh!t years ago. Cancer cancer cancer!

Rather sad for the DKs.

Their one major gimmick of making team walk on water gets diluted more and more.

Their group utility that made others marvel going the way of the mage table.

As someone who did the grind to get the Water Strider, I’m glad. It’s a decent mount, but it’s tiring when for most situations it’s always better to use it over other mounts when you’re either leveling or not in a flying zone. Makes my whole other selection of mounts feel pointless if I’m not playing a Shaman, DK or druid.

I don’t understand what is the point of this change … We suffer every expansion with gated flying… this mount was not the best but something nice to have and really useful.
And those item slots for the mount ?! How unique is this? Such a greater effects… lol …

From my reading you only have to buy the item once per alt and it just refreshes once buff is gone until we see more info iam not going to stress.

the buff is destroyed if you take damage. It is also destroyed if you want to swap it out with another effect. As it affects all mounts at once you cant even equip alternative mounts with it. Basically it is a tax on water walking. Yes you can get much cheaper water walking shoes from the Anglers but seriously do you see many people going all the way back to Pandaria every time their water walking buff is destroyed?

yes exactly like shaman buff but does anyone have any soilid proff we need to buy mulitiple items ? because there isnt from what im seeing .
The only place to buy shoes is from Anglers nowhere else .

The item in the screen shot would even say stackable if it was the case and it doesnt .The first one is free then if you want more for alts you have to play which i think its wrong but there is NOTHING atm saying we have to buy one each time we get hit n.

I think you can buy them from your garrison in WOD if you earned the strider that you can earn from the fishing area there.

I think ya’ll misunderstanding the effect.
You lose the water walking when you are hit in the same way as you do with waterstrider.
IE you will go down as a sinking ship, fight the mob off, remount and then be on your jolly way again.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESs-7QXFFAo&t=2s - Taliesin and Evitel talk about it (starts at 43:40. They state that the shoes are not a permanent one off buff. You will need to replace if the buff is destroyed if you take damage or if you want to put something else in the slot temporarily, which also destroys the buff.

It only gets destroyed if you replace it with a different buff but you need to buy the item per char .
They said nothing about buying a n ew one if you take damage .

It actually gets destroyed if you get knocked off the mount or take damage.

You will have to buy another one, hence the WOW Head article states you can buy multiple of these and gives you the price. Basically you are paying for something you already have.

If you do not have the strider then you pay full price for the items each time. These items are not permanent hence you have to craft them or buy them.

I watched the vid they said nothing about that and i cant see blizzard forceing us to buy new buffs every single time i want soild facts and proff please .

The destruction while taking damage is not stated anywhere.
Not in vid posted by Eleseren, not in the article.

Inflatable Mount Shoes : Equip in your mount equipment slot to allow you to walk across water while mounted. Any damage will cancel the effect.

It says nothing about item being destroyed at all just the effect which means you remount .

If the item was permanent you would not need more than one, plus it is in the T and E video about the changes.

You need to buy the item per char and if you change the buff the buff doesnt get destroyed unless you change it .

Iam sorry Jurgen you are mis understanding what you are reading only way the item gets destroyed is if you replace it with the chute or daze .THEN you have to buy another .
