For 18 years have I played WoW but I guess that everything has to come to an end. I just don’t find the game interesting enough to invest the amount of time that it needs (nor have the time).
I did notice something when I did start to play other games: I didn’t have fun in WoW anymore, I did just login to do my chores because of FOMO.
And also that I have missed so many great games thru the years while clinging to WoW.
I feel much more satisfied with life since I did start to play WoW more moderate and mixed it with other games (non MMO)! Just a tip to all!
Thank to all that have brought joy into my posts thru the years! Especially Punyelf and Hairyclown!
May you all enjoy DF and have fun! Wish you all the best of best
Sincerely
Ozgool
P.S. no you can’t have my gold, pets, names, tears, mats….
I sincerely hope that you enjoy your time out of Azeroth and in the many other worlds that you may decide to venture, I hope that time and life is kind and that while rain is inevitable, in the midst of the downpour there is always the time and inclination to dance!!!
I’m sorry to see you go and I hope our paths will cross again.
I wish you the very best in your gaming adventures wherever they may take you. I hope you find something that gives you lots of joy! I’m really hoping there will be less chores in DF but the proof will be in the playing. I have despised the make you play metrics since they started in Legion.
Thank you!l for those kind words wish you the best in all worlds too! Enjoy your release day tomorrow
Thank you puny, keep rocking and always be yourself. You have brought joy and laughter so many times on the forum. I wish you the very best in life and hopefully will you love DF.
People like you isn’t there many of, so take care.
Quite a while back I stopped chasing the game. The time involved just meant I couldn’t do other things. I too wanted to play other games and enjoy more of my free time. Now, I hook myself into the game with game time for a couple of months every know and then and just play my own game. I created my own rules and just forgot about endgame stuff. It was either this or dropping the game altogether. Thing is without a sub I couldn’t access my characters, and they are family to me.
Anyhoo you enjoy your down time from the game but just don’t be a stranger. The game needs players like you to stay active albeit maybe at a reduced rate. This is still the best there is for numbers of dedicated players. I mean 18 years is a lifetime to a lot of players today. They do need your experience so don’t stay away too long.
