Cache of Nathrian Treasures; Does it include Zenith Anima Spherule from CN?

The cache of CN (normal), says: “Rewards a piece of equipment for your Loot Specialization.”.

It says equipment, well, you can’t directly equip a spherule, so it makes me think if it’s in the cache or not.

Anyone know if it does? Wowhead mentions nothing on it, still no answer of these tokens or weapons from it. It would be nice if the tooltip was more clear since we’re committing to doing 5 timewalking dungeons and potentially wasting our time on something that isn’t even included in the reward.

I’ve not seen any of the caches give me any weapon tokens and I do believe I’ve done the quest on at least one char whenever one of them popped up.

Also none of my guildmates that I’ve just asked got any weapons, ever.

So while I can’t give you any confirmation, since providing proof that something does not drop is drastically more difficult than the opposite, but I can give my personal experience.

I do believe the keyword here is “equipment” in the tooltip of the Cache, that says “Rewards a piece of equipment for your Loot Specialization”, while tokens are indeed not equipment.

It’s like a weapon token, you trade it in, in your covenant sanctum for the right weapon.
