"Cackling Shard" more like and I'm not laughing šŸ˜©

So, 5 x level 80 and 3 x 75 and I have only got 1 x ā€œCrackling Shardā€ for the Alunira mountā€¦
Is there a bug or is it just shockingly bad RNG ???

I only have four shards so far. Iā€™ve not actively farmed them. I will at some point but itā€™s a bit of a gruelling task Iā€™m putting off, despite it being a really pretty mount.

I only have one character and i got 2 shards at the first days. But since then nothing. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Wouldnā€™t surprise if its both.

I have 1 after many rare kills across several alts.

My drop rate for Invincible was better than these shards.

I have 14 characters at level 80 and I think I have two of them.

Itā€™s like numerous other mounts of the same method. Itā€™s just low chance, nothing more. I currently got 3 shards from just doing WQs not actively farming them.

Not sure if you can ā€˜buyā€™ the mount like you could with the one in Eternal Vale of MoP.

There are two mobs you can farm in Dornogal with a 2-3 min respawn timer that have a 1% drop chance each I farmed out this mount in two days.

Springbubble and the sand guy directly down from this mob.

Remember the people getting all of the shards at start of expansion in a few hours with that elite farm ?

My Rarity addon has over 8000 kills counted, and I only have 1 shard which I got during the first week incidentally on the first 500 kills. Thatā€™s 7500+ kills without any shard.

I started TWW a month after launch and I have never seen a single shard drop. Five level 80 chars, with at least 20 days of max-level playtime between three most played.

I remember a guildie getting it pretty fast but I didnā€™t know about the farm which has obviously been nerfed :weary:

Thank you! RNG did favor me well on those 2 mobs for the past hour.
I recall seeing a similar tip over on achievement discord but that was about 1 mob elsewhereā€¦ anyways, very nice indeed.

Got 2 shards on 2 chars early in the expac and nothing else later. I donā€™t farm it, of course. I wanna stay sane enough.

never had a single one of these drop on any of my characters.
honestly didnt know these even existed.

I had great expectations when I did the bee mount farm and then only got one shard :rofl:

I read this too but unfortunately the 1 shard I had was in my bagsā€¦
Double checked the warband bank but nothing there :frowning:
