What is the point of Call to Arms NOW?
I remember the original point - to make dungeon queues faster (back when you could only queue for one role) but…
Why have a system that allows the following:
- Call to Arms: Tank is running
- I queue as all roles as normal
- The queue doesn’t pop for 5 minutes
- I queue as a healer, solely.
- Within 15 seconds it’s popped.
- Repeat this again, since the CtA is still going for tanks…
I’d like to know the actual philosophy behind CtA since, originally, it was to help queues pop for roles which were facing longer queues - but if it’s not capable of doing that role anymore, is there an issue with poor programmers who don’t understand how to code it so it can do what is necessary?
I mean - there are 3 dps not getting a dungeon because I’ve been assigned tank, and not healer.
