Sadly it was to be expected. Didn’t expect it this soon though.
Once again this just follows the MoP narrative, I don’t know how they’re gonna go from here and not finish with SoO 2.0. Seems inevitable.
I just hope now that they don’t ruin Thrall, like they did with every character that they touched this expansion.
Apparently it’s Umbric for the Alliance, probably a dungeon/raid encounter or something that won’t mean anything after it’s done. Even says that it’s only on Mythic difficulty.

they really better not kill of another leader. else thalysra,rastakhan and possible sylvannas and i guess nathanos?(im not sure he counts a leader or not).

thalysra ruined/killed by becoming way to repeated corrupted by old gods trick.
and then sylvanans Lol evil warchief you need to team with Alliance again, and your choice of supporting her ot not nah dint matter go team up with Alliance and go kill another leader of yours.
And then if baine or so is wwarchief(hope not) he will be next on chopping block.
Aaaand King Mechagon is the last gnomish King from centuries ago who went to find technological wonderlands. Great…
In the War Campaign we’re not killing another leader. We’re killing a Sunreaver who rightfully wants justice against Jaina called Rowa Bloodstrike.

It will be funny to hear Anduin say “But know this, if your Horde fails to uphold honor like Sylvanas did… we will end you!”. As much as I adore his voice actor, he isn’t very good at delivering ultimatums… Maybe it’s just the face of the character.
I miss Varian. Gone, but never forgotten.
well lets hope wont end with killing another leader. and killing of another leader was more to rastakhan.
You know Arctur, as funny as it gets reading you switch from this attitude that borders on attempt at gloating, to then start raging over stuff like the loss of Kul Tiran fleet and how affronted you feel regarding Horde players, maybe its time to reconsider this stance.
The PTR has just started unveiling what it holds. The next piece might not be of your liking.

Leader or not, I refuse to kill Rowa or any other Blood Elf to free the likes of Baine. I don’t care if Sylvanas gives me her ‘blessing’, that makes her even more stupid and just as bad.

i dont wanna kill either, only ones i want dead are thrall,baine,saurfang and anduin. I dont wanna have to go kill my own faction.
I hated siege of ogrimar and how they made garrosh a villian and how i had to go kill rastakhan in BoD (atleast it being done as Alliance made it tiny bit better/more bearable but it was still horrible). I dont want to loose and have to kill even more of my faction.
Escpially not when was told our choice would matter, well it increasingly seems like it doesnt at all.
“After freeing N’zoth with an evil talking old god knife, the Zandalari hero teams up with Jaina who he recently tried to kill and the Alliance crew that killed his king to rescue a traitor imprisoned by the leader of the nation he just joined.”

from reddit, thats basicly where story is going now, Atleast theyre not like j.k.rhowling (spelling?) yet.
and when Alliance is gonna do something 'bad" its not gonna get punished at all like genn got nothing at all in legion for breaking the kings orders and crashing their best airship. Or is just gonna be changed that theyre again boring goody goo shoes that cant do wrong.
While you have to get painted evil again and again no matter what you do, even by own faction and then told both factions are doing bad things or something like that.
God i cant honestly wait for this story to end, and honestly id love if after bfa and whatever 9.0 is, bfa just gets entierly retconned or so.
Just the more story progress the worse it becomes and the more and more i totally hate where theyre going to.
Hope atleast Azshara wont be ruined totally like rest of this expansions story.

Ah yes, the honorable murder of more horde warriors, as well as partnering with the same person that just launched a massive assault on our new allies capitol, killed their king, their warriors and our soldiers. All to free someone who is essentially working with the Alliance, committed treason against the horde and is justifiably imprisoned.
This is honorable. Such excellent writing and narrative decision making here.
So they just spent the entire expansion throwing an interesting and nuanced character, one of our last warcraft 3 heroes by the way and villain batted her so hard she became a cartoon villain.
To make matters worse, these traitors are gonna be the “heroes”? at the end of the expansion while they either Kerrigan or execute Sylvanas, either way we won’t see her anymore.
I am so done with this story.
