Okay this SP nerf/buff combo they recently thrown out is now drawing the line for me. We all seen how sad and bad Blizzard is at making balance changes this entire phase and ontop of that their STV event is a clownfiesta as of now.
This is what they have done in P2 as of nerfs:
Druid
- Starsurge base damage reduced by 35%, and its benefit from bonus spell damage effects reduced to 42.9%, matching other instant spells.
Druids were literally nerfed to the ground with this alone and made sitting ducks in PvP. The only thing they got going is their flexibility. The simple fix that shouldâve been done is decreasing the damage by 20-25% / CD increase to bring it in line with SWD / etc.
Priest
- Shadow Word: Death base damage before modifiers decreased by 40% and spellpower coefficient adusted to 42.9% (was 64.3%).
See the common theme? Literally ranged classes that finally got some value with expanded talent trees get gutted the second whinebabys cry about certain things and certain blantant things like ROGUE are being ignored from Blizz while getting fed with buffs and runes each phase, their mobility is unmatched and CC even more so.
In the words of Scorpedo, good job at calling out this cringefest from forum trolls and devs who clearly do not play the game at all:

Moving on, the event, who remembers getting GY camped the first few weeks?
Yeah, the majority does, so what did we get in the first update? A debuff for 1 minute that prevented us from giving players blood if they kill you during the duration, giving people a chance to âresetâ after dying.

The next update, they made the debuff a buff, terrible idea, that is basically asking to revert to Graveyard camping and hoping for people not to have the buff on.
The last update they brought was a sound idea on paper but, literally ruined the players ability to proper âresetâ after dying.
Couldnât buff certain things, pet classes got screwed over, classes with classmounts cant use their mounts, auras couldnât be activated (hunter/pally) and etc.
And with no movement speed buffs after dying, it is basically close to graveyard camping.
This isnât the end of the event, layering, lag and bugs ruin it further:
The debuff from dying is still not working as intended, you cannot do anything except very few abilities/mounting/etc. , classes getting screwed over by this, basically this is 2.0 GY camping for blood edition, and thus unplayable.
Abilities are getting delayed, Auras are not being shown until itâs quite literally too late, and PvP trinket is worthless, which makes any kind of PvP unfun.
Booty Bay Guards interfere with PvP during the event, when they shouldnât? The fly masters are hostile/noninteractable, why are guards still interacting?
The event is barely playable at peak times due to layers screwing up your party, the lag making it impossible to counteract what happens to you and BB Guard bug ruins it in Booty Bay.
The fix to the current event is to revert it back to the 2nd iteration with a 1min debuff, participants being able to prepare themselves with buffs/auras/mounts/etc without this invis stuff. And any attack made against someone without the debuff will drop your debuff aswell to encourage killing the attacker.

edit: i did forget mentioning the fact that gnomeregan bosses literally have more armor than MC bosses, just who thought this was a good idea? change it to reasonable armor so we can actually play the game as melee
