Calming the Kodo - Nearly a decade bugged

I rarely if ever make a post about quests and their quality but this is shockingly bad and shameful to the Warcraft brand.

During the Desolace quest Calming the Kodo there is bug which places the enraged kodo no where near the quest area (usually 800-900 yards in a randon direction away from the quest) and since you cannot use the quest item outside the quest zone it means a leveling character has to kill an elite quest mob (which the quest is supposed to stop you having to do) and then wait for just single enraged kodo to spawn in intervals of a couple of minutes to finish the quest.

So to recap: first you must go in any random direction in Desolace to find this quest mob it could be in Uganda for all we know so have fun on the scavenger hunt to literally anywhere, second you kill an elite quest mob not meant to be attacked, then you have to get your way back to quest zone and then only ONE spawns which after you calm the kodo another doesn’t spawn for one 2 minutes or so.

If this was classic fair enough. But for retail and for one of the redone zones this total trash. If I was a new player and didn’t know to check wowhead this quest simply would be impossible to do, stopping a characters progression dead in its tracks because blizzard devs can’t code in a simple damn kodo.

So in December next year will be officially a decade of this bug existing and blizzard never fixing it. Can a single Blizzard dev find the time to actually fix old content? I’ll put my money on no. This is the Blizzard “quality” they like to always talk about.
