Campaign quests on alts

Hello guys,

I’ve been searching for a solution( I truly hope there is one). Is there any way to remove campaign quests from the map on alts? I did whole campaign on my main and campaign quests on alts are driving me crazy when I see them… I have read so many different information regarding this topic and nothing seem to help. I really wouldn’t like to do whole campaign on all of my alts, since as far as I see it right now, thats the only solution…

In Dragonflight?

My main has done the storyline and I have unlocked World Quests.

Alts can level how they wish, I can do storyline, side quests, world quests, dungeons etc.

Or did you mean in another expansion via Chromie time?

Nah,nah mate. I know all of that. I’m just wondering if there is a way to hide campaign quests on alts from mini map. Since I don’t wanna do them again(i’ve done them on my main)

Oh I see!! I misunderstood.

I’m not aware of any addon that does that but equally I’ve not looked either. I’ve seen similar requests from people asking for WQs to be hidden while they level alts.

Unfortunately, Threads of Fate is not available anymore. I didn’t use it but a lot of people did, it was a very popular feature. Not sure why Blizzard removed it.

Try to fiddle with World Quest Tracker addon. It might have options you need.

I don’t need any options, you were the one asking

I’m currently not aware of ways of hiding either.

Haha, I havent read it correctly. Thought you were asking similar question but about world quests.

Because in SL if you choose to level with WQs, you couldn’t change your mind later. Now you can do that without having to make that choice and you can change your mind and do the campaign anytime you want. DF is much better in that aspect TBH.

Yes, you’re right. But since there is that kind of mechanic ( to hide campaign quest ) why just not let us hide them? Its already enough of a mess on mini map with all other things happening honestly.

Technically, in SL it was not hiding quests. The quest was actually marked as completed (as if you actually did the quests), this is why it wasn’t possible to change your mind later.

Wish we have that option right now honestly.

How does the Campaign work on Alts? Do you need to start from the beginning and work through it? Or can you do it zone by zone, or chapter by chapter?

I spotted a cooking recipe in o’hanrahan plains in the campaign but my chef is my pally alt (was my main back in wrath). Wish it was Account Bound so my main could have just sent it to my pally but I’ll do the quests as long as I don’t have to start the campaign from the start since I’ll struggle with that Dragonriding Tutorial quest (or is that there on alts since Dragonriding is Account Wide?).

I’ve not touched the campaign on alts so far. There are campaign quests showing in all zones as far as I can recall.

Thanks. Are these the start of each chapter? Or the start of each zone? Not that it matters that much, the recipe was quite early in the O’Hanrahan Plains questline so it wouldn’t take too long to get to it.
Apart from that one recipe so far there hasn’t been anything else I’d miss if I didn’t do the campaign on an alt, which is good.

I had a quest in Valdrakken introducing me to all the factions. I am not sure if that was what made them available or that it was just to point you in the right direction.

Yea, I thought the same, but only after I finished it.
